Northbridge is easy to visit during a day of sightseeing in central Perth, whether you’re on your own or with a guide. See the neighborhood on foot during a food or pub walking tour, or if you prefer independent exploration, book a hop-on hop-off tour and get off at the Perth Cultural Centre stop. Northbridge is a 10- to 20-minute walk from the CBD, or it can be reached via public transport from Perth train station, just across Roe Street.
The neighborhood is liveliest in the evening when locals dine out, take in a show, or hit the bars. Afternoons are popular, too, for those visiting the museums and other cultural venues. The Art Gallery of Western Australia is closed on Tuesday; Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts is closed on Monday.
