Travelers can also visit Tallinn Town Hall as part of a shore excursion to tick off the city's best sights in a day. The only part of the Tallinn Town Hall that’s wheelchair-accessible is the main floor, and there isn’t a wheelchair-accessible toilet. If you are a wheelchair user, it’s recommended to contact the venue in advance so they can make necessary preparations for your visit.
While photography is allowed, you can’t bring a tripod, and flash photography is prohibited.

Its central location in the heart of Tallinn's Old Town means the Tallinn Town Hall is super easy to find, on the south side of the medieval market square. If arriving at Tallinn Train Station, the easiest way to get to the center is a 9-minute walk via Nunne Street.
The Tallinn Town Hall can only be visited by appointment from September through June, so advanced booking is required. During the summer months—usually from June through August—it’s possible to visit the Town Hall Tower (which is closed throughout the rest of the year). It’s recommended to check on opening hours in advance and arrive close to opening time to beat the afternoon crowds.
In the summer, visitors to the Tallinn Town Hall can challenge themselves to climb the medieval spiral staircase to reach the top of the Bell Tower, which dates back to 1402–1404. There are 115 steps, and the reward at the end is a spectacular view of Tallinn’s picturesque Old Town.
