Absolutely incredible. I've never been snorkeling and was a little nervous as I'm not a great swimmer nor a fan of sharks, even these adorable ones -- but the whole team made it a great experience with nothing to fear. We saw a Stingray and Manatee on this trip as well, on top of the usual sealife!

The sailboat was great and the crew was entertaining. The spotted eagle ray was cool, the fish were great, the nurse sharks are awesome. Too many people in the water however our guide bavigated us around.

Smooth Sailing, a "Must Do"

Checked in at Blue Tang where we picked up our gear - it was easy and stress free. The young ladies at the desk were very helpful. We boarded the boat from the dock just across the beach. Edwin was our guide. He was very friendly and welcoming. He explained the plan and made sure we had a great time. He talked about Belize history, lifestyle, growing up in Belize and the reef on the sail out. As well, the Captain was very good and always aware of our comfort and safety. The sailing was smooth and comfortable. There were five people total on the trip, so plenty of room on the beautiful boat. We snorkeled at the reserve and saw so much. Edwin was lighthearted and funny as well as very knowledgeable. He would point out things we otherwise would have missed. Next stop was shark Alley where we saw several nurse sharks. At all times we felt safe and in capable hands. I would highly recommend this trip as a "must do" while visiting Ambergris Caye.

Fun and relaxing experience all in one

My partner and I did the half-day cruise and it was more than enough – in a good way! The captain and crew were great hosts and made the tour very fun and informative. While the tour lasted about four hours, we weren’t the most prepared, which was our fault. Make sure to bring everything you need (sunblock, water, few snacks if that’s your thing, towels) because it’ll be totally safe on the boat. Would recommend this to everyone – solo travelers, groups, couples and families!

Beautiful half day tour with plenty of marine life to see.

We had a wonderful half-day tour to shark ray alley and Hol Chan Reserve with Edwin. His crew were attentive and pointed out many things in the sea. They were safe and we were able to see a sea turtle, shark rays, nurse sharks, horse eyed jacks and many more. It was a great trip on a sailboat. It was about 14 passengers plus a crew of 3 so it was still spacious to move around. I would recommend if you prefer a half day and are limited on time.

We had an awesome time! Our guides David, Edwin and Marcus were so great! They were knowledgeable, funny and great to work with. Best snorkeling experience ever. So many different kinds of fish, rays, turtles. The sharks were awesome!

The tour guides were great - very informative but also laid back and funny. The sail was great, and the snorkeling was perfect. Not too long, not too short. We saw lots of fish, rays, eels, and nurse sharks. The guide made sure to point out things for us to see or give us the name of the fish we saw. Highly recommend for a quick but wonderful snorkeling experience.

Amazing Guides and Peaceful Sailboat Ride

We had a fantastic time on this Snorkel tour! Our guide, Edwin, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us a lot of history about the islands and the reef as well as recommendations for other activities. Edwin made sure to point out anything of interest so that everyone in the group could see and also provided many opportunities to ask questions. As someone with limited snorkeling experience, it can be hard to know what to look for, so his guidance really enhanced the tour for me. Our Captain, David, was also excellent - the two of them made a great team. The sailing experience really took this snorkel tour to the next level. It was great to take things a bit slower and just enjoy being out on the water. It also provided more opportunities to see wildlife in between the snorkeling excursions. 10/10 would recommend and would definitely book this tour again when I return to San Pedro!

Great experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We didn't end up on a sailboat due to scheduling conflicts but this was confirmed beforehand. We didn't have a problem. We enjoyed the snorkel tour. Our guide was knowledgeable. We swam fish, rays, eels and snacks.

Eagle rays, sharks, colorful fish on a beautiful reef in turquoise water is a must see!

Amazing trip! Loved the gorgeous and relaxed sailing and smaller sized tour group. Edwin and George the guides were phenomenal! Pointing out all kinds of marine and bird life as well as island and ocean landmarks. I learned a ton about the area just from these two guides! Definitely recommend!!!!!

The water was clear and warm, the wildlife diverse and abundant, and all was beautiful. Ship and crew were great, Captain Dave runs a safe and efficient ship. Edwin was a great guide and "snorkel master". A great time was had by all. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
