Great Canal Tour Experience!

Our tour operators are a young motivated couple who have created a wonderful experience for their guests. Will was an accomplished boat navigator and a delightful storyteller. His partner (sorry — forgot her name) added her own color commentary and was masterful at keeping their guests happy with drinks and snacks. Their smaller boat (we had about 16 guests) was able to explore smaller canals which larger boats couldn’t reach. The two-hour cruise was filled with historical references, interesting stories and colorful anecdotes as only Amsterdam natives would know. They were most gracious and it was a very welcoming and wonderful introduction to the city.

This tour exceeded our expectations! Will & Tamson were awesome! Commentary of the history and landmarks of Amsterdam were enlightening and entertaining. Plus, the local snacks and beverages were great, too! Highly recommend!

This was the best part of my 48 hours in Amsterdam. The boat is brand new and couldn’t be any more comfortable. Will, our guide, was amazing. He is born and raised in Amsterdam and was incredibly knowledgeable on all of the monuments and canals. He was great fun and made this from a tourist trip to a personal trip! It was very intimate and there was free flowing wine and beer along with Dutch snacks. The boat was partially covered and had a bathroom on board. Book this! You won’t be sorry.

The best thing you’ll do in Amsterdam

This boat trip is a little more expensive than the average, but it worth every penny! The recently renovated boat was absolutely stunning and the small group size meant there was plenty of space to sit comfortably. Will and Tamsin were excellent hosts, attentive with the drinks and boasting an extensive knowledge of the city. They have two boats a summer and a winter boat. We were lucky enough to have glorious sunshine but with a fair bit of wind. As a result the winter boat with a closed top worked perfectly, keeping out the wind and acting as a bit of a sun trap given the large sun roof. The summer boat is fully open topped. We also received some tasty local snacks and enjoyed these with a local beer and a glass of Prosecco. Voyage really delivered on the luxury feel and the slower pace of the tour (c.2hrs) was a really nice way to see the city. If you’re limited on time in Amsterdam and only have time for one excursion, do this one!

Overall was a good cruise, only 10 of us so it felt personalized, and the boat was nice. Booked with this company specifically because they had a restroom on board, but of course it was out of service the day of our cruise :(

An absolute must-do in Amsterdam! The canal cruise was simply magical. Stunning views, Tiber was informative and jolly throughout, and the boat was beautifully stunning topped off with delicious snacks. A perfect way to experience the charm of the city. Highly recommended!

Wil and Tamsen were lovely - so interesting, engaging, kind. The group dynamic was fun and we learned a lot - from a distracted 12 year old to a very curious 82 year old grandma and sisters in our 50s, we all loved it. Also the snack trays and drinks were a nice touch. Perfection

Will was charming and the wooden boat is beautiful. We enjoyed a glass or two of prosecco while learning about Amsterdam. Highly recommend this experience. This is the newest boat company in the tour business, and we were delighted that we chose this tour -- Will is the business owner, pilots the boat, tells you about city sights and history, serves drinks, and offers recommendations.
