Very good tour, a must for all in Aswan. Visiting the High Dam you’ll learn about the recent history of the Nile, Philae temples are great! The unfinished obelisk is a must see!

Maryam, our guide was attentive and spoke well. Whenever my group has questions, she tried her best to answer them. Recommend this short trip to anyone rushing for time or like my group, who've arrived early morning from Cairo & can't wait to see Aswan.

Our tour guide, Macpola was the BEST! We've traveled to many countries and she is definitely our favorite tour guide. She was thorough, patient, clear, and gave us more than we scheduled for. We enjoyed going to the oil shop and the spice market. She took time out of her schedule to accommodate our last minute request and we are so grateful for that.

I would really recommend this tour. I enjoyed every stop, especially Philae which was definitely one of the most memorable places that we visited in Egypt. I don't think I'll ever forget the first moment I caught a glimpse of the temple from the motorboat which took us to the island. I also have to say that we only had two really good guides whilst visiting Egypt (and we went on a lot of tours!) and Nermien was one of them. She never made us feel rushed, she was so knowledgeable and most importantly, she is a really nice person. I feel like this was one of the tours that I really learnt something whilst having a great time. I can still tell the difference between depictions of Hathor and Isis! :) I would definitely recommend this tour and especially Nermien. thanks :)

Mary was a great tour guide. She was very nice and accommodating and did a great job with practicing a Covid safe tour. Would definitely recommend her. We needed to get a PCR test to come back home and she took us to the facility and then waited 30 minutes with us to make sure everything went smoothly. She was great and we would highly recommend.

We booked our Aswan tour for 30 Nov 2021. This was our second tour with EmoTours, the previous day we visited Abu Simbel and our guide for it was Mr Emad Aiad. After spending great time with him there (I have written a separate review), all we hoped for was that we have him again as a guide, and we were soooo so happy that indeed, Mr Emad turned out to be our guide for the tour in Aswan as well. He picked us up right on time and even made sure to call the room to inform us that he arrived. He absolutely loves his job and he is passionate about it, and he has been doing it for more than 20 years! This says a lot about the experience and knowledge he has! His enthusiasm and good mood are contagious, but not only that-he made us feel very special, he brought a sense of personal touch and we never felt like we are just "another customers". Apart from the general interesting facts about the places we visited in Aswan, he shared also some lesser known stories (where does the word "pharaoh" come from?), taught us how to read certain hieroglyphs and also shared personal stories from his life, job experience and family. He answered all kind of questions we had and never got tired to take care after our needs, staying flexible according to our requests. He reccommended a tour to the Nubian village but at the end we decided we won't go. He also suggested some shops, we wanted to actually go to two of them, but we didnt like anything so we didnt buy, but anyways we didnt feel pressured at all to buy, so it is really up to you. Also if you just dont want to go, you tell him that you dont and there is no problem. We absolutely reccommend booking with Emo Tours and if possible, ask for Mr Emad because, really, the guide can make so much difference in your experience! Wishing you many more happy customers!

All places of the tour are well worth seeing! We found the tour very well organised: We were picked up at the hotel by our very friendly guide. The standard of the car was also very good, as well as the driving skills of the driver. However when coming back from Philae island by boat it took more than 15 minutes till the driver showed up, although our guide called him serveral times well in advance. Nevertheless we enjoyed the tour very much, although we missed a bit more in-depth knowledge of our guide, which might have been limited by his language skills.

Peter guided us through the Unfinished Obelisk, the High Dam and the Philae Temple. He's a great guide, and he answered all our (numerous) questions.. He did his best to accommodate our wishes, and we really recommend him! The car was comfy and clean and the driver wrote very safely!
