Great Audio Tour

The audio tour of Acadia Park was great! It connected to car play right away and we could stop and visit any of the sites without a problem. Best investment ever!
Not much open in April

What we saw we enjoyed. Whoever set this up needs to inform clients that most of the access roads remain closed until May. As we were here in mid April we encountered many closed roads. Also I was sad that android wasn't available because my husband has hearing loss and would have been able to hear through the blue tooth phone connection.

Jonathan was our tour guide and he was amazing! So much knowledge and a personal photographer too. Loved his energy and the whole experience. Would highly recommend this experience. Well worth the money.

Sadly, we were not able to use the app on the day (or any day) we visited the park. The roads and entrances to the park were closed for the winter, which happens every season. Why sell an app that cannot be used. We felt duped.

Let’s start with this should not be sold in the winter if the park is closed to driving- so you can not use this at all. This is a poor representation as this product purchase can not be used

While some roads in the park are indeed closed during the colder months, we've designed a winter route to accommodate the seasonal changes. If you follow the specific route on the app, it should still offer a valuable experience. Your purchase doesn't expire, so you're welcome to use it for a complete experience in the summer or whenever you choose to revisit. If you'd like to explore the stories from home, that's also an option.

well I did not get to use the app as it just would not download so we had to go blind. I gave 4 out of 5 stars because viator responded the same day and refunded my account as it would not download they were very nice. Stuff happens and they understand. I recommend Viator and I will try and use it on my upcoming trip!

It wasn’t that informative. Reading a bit about places on the loop beforehand would have sufficed. However, since it was inexpensive, maybe if you’re on the fence about using it, use it.

Thanks for the feedback, Sherry. I've got this hunch that maybe you didn't experience the whole tour, as it dives more profoundly than the usual tidbits. Whenever you're up for it, remember your tour doesn't have an expiration date, so that you can dive back in at your own pace. And if Acadia's not your jam, a whole library of 100+ other self-guided tours is waiting for you. Here's to more discoveries on the road!

Speaking on the phone to to a customer rep that did not help. I scheduled an audio driving tour that I didn’t attend on the scheduled day and then when I tried to reschedule the next day I was told it was over and I lost out. Trust me I will never book through Viator again.

Very difficult to download. I called the Help line & still could not download the app. We were unable to use it. I would not recommend getting this app.

Sorry to hear about the download troubles, Diana. The signal can be a bit spotty at the park, so we always suggest downloading the app and tour in advance. But here's a silver lining: the product you bought never expires! So, you can still kick back at home and immerse yourself in the stories of Acadia anytime you like. I hope you give it another shot!
