Francesco var engagerande, vänlig, informativ och gick utöver vad jag skulle förvänta mig. Utbudet av matställen var fantastiskt. Jag skulle aldrig ha smakat eller sett den här sidan av Berlin. Portionerna var rikliga, urvalen varierade och ställena gömda pärlor som jag annars skulle ha missat. Jag letade efter en rundtur som skulle ta mig bort från min komfortzon genom att välja restauranger och kasta många alternativ och varianter i väg för en fullständig upplevelse av Berlins kulinariska scen. This food tour was awesome. Don’t do any of the other ones. Danya was the guide for our group. Travelled solo so this was an awesome way to find a neighborhood and try different restaurants I wouldn’t have found on my own. Had Doner, Strudel, Schnitzel, Flammkonn or something like that, was kinda crispy cracker crust pizza but 100% country German, and a Berliner donut. Finished off at a biergarten. The portions definitely exceeded my expectations and I am a big eater. The guide gave some cool history on the neighborhoods too. Easy meet up point also. Great value, will book more through Secret Food Tours on this trip.

Great food tour

A really great food tour that closed my trip to Berlin in style. Staying roughly in the Hackescher Markt general area we sampled, doner kebab, Jerry streusel, urrywurst, spätzle, flamkuchen, Riesling wine, Berliner donuts and - of course, beer. Along the way our guide took us to some interesting and off the beaten tourist track places of interest too. A tour if often made by the people on it and the guide. I was fortunate to have good company and a superb guide.
