Very nice island! Great buffet lunch during the river cruiser and excellent local guide and driver. Highly recommended even though it’s a long day trip from Cebu/Mactan.

Bohol Trip from Cebu

Did the day trip from Cebu to Bohol. Trip was good, guide and driver were good. Went to 2nd oldest church in the Philippines, river cruise with lunch, tarsiers were fantastic and chocolate hills. The only issue the travel company Explore Cebu sent ferry tickets and instructions. We were told the return ferry was 5.40 and the tickets were for the 5pm ferry. It was a Sunday so ferry was full. It was last ferry of the day too and we had a flight next day. So we were almost stuck in Bohol. We also didn’t have transport back to the hotel so a really bad end to the day for following the instructions provided

Climbing the steps at the chocolate hills was an amazing experience for me since stairs are not easy, but I did it. Our tour guide was very engaging and made all the stops better. She definitely added some local input and made me want to come back someday.

This was far most the best tour i have done . The guides were super professional and very educational of Bohol culture and food . And did reminders and tips on the way . It has many highlights for me . The river tour and lunch was exceptional ,loved every min of it . The scenery and the food and wbtertainments was vwry good. Also some sightaeeing of old churches ect along with the Tasier sanctuart was great . Chocolate hills were a sight ! Absolutely recommend this worth the money and very nice guides , they made it enjoyable

Bohol Countryside Day Tour From Cebu City

Overall the trip was great. Our guide and driver where amazing, funny and helpful. The views were awesome, lunch during the Loboc river was very good. The only part to complain is that the church which was part of the trip was closed and we couldn't see it inside.

A great tour to Bohol from Cebu

This is a great tour and the only tour I did in Cebu. Local operator contacted me a day before, told me in details on what to do the next day, and sent me two ferry tickets. When I arrived Tagbilaran in Bohol island, tour guides were already waiting for me at the exit holding a name sign. We then started sightseeing. The activities were enriched. Visiting an old stone church, cruising and having lunch on Loboc River, seeing Tarsiers and Chocolate Hills were the best. After we taking ferry back to Cebu, the van driver was waiting there and dropped everyone off their hotels. Whole things took 14 hours with no hassle.

The tarsiers and the chocolate hills were both beautiful. The ferry ride from Cebu to tagliaran is about two hours so just be prepared for that. Sara, our guide on Bohol, was super knowledgeable and friendly and made the trip great!

BOHOL: A Great experience

I echo with what most people said about the trip: a must do. The River cruise was my highlight of the trip. I truly got to see the heart of the Filipino people. They wear their heads on their sleeves. The island is so untouched - so different from Cebu. The only downside (which I told the guide) is the lack of instructions about ferry transit which a lot of folks also have echoed in previous posts. You must check-in and get an actual boarding pass - the PDF is not the boarding pass - it is your ticket to get the boarding pass.
