Wine Tasting near Charlottesville

Williams was very kind and drove us to 3 wineries (we were able to choose 2 we really wanted to visit). He even made a pit stop on request! We really enjoyed the wine tastings and appreciated Williams's flexibility. However, for the price, I was disappointed in his vehicle...an older mini van seemed to be in need of repair.

Our driver, William, was very professional, and did a great job. We were given notice of the wineries two days before hand, which is great. We assumed since we were given notice that we would have reservations at the wineries. One of the wineries was so crowded that we had to wait for a seat. And given our limited time, reservations would have been really helpful. Also, the description said that soda and water was available for us. When we asked for a water, there were only two water bottles, and yet we had four people. There was also no soda whatsoever.

We appreciate your your feedback, usually reservation are made if necessary, the wineries that your went to usually do not require reservation, the driver was surprised that the second winery was excepting a reservation to be made, reservations for the wineries are most of times made by the Customers, we only do it when the wineries requires us to do so, there were lots of water available when the tour started, Driver asked if anyone needs water and your group told him you were ok ,because of that the Driver gave He was only left with two bottles of water.After the end of your experience, you requested for water and the Driver had no option but to give you what was left. As for soda we had lots of soda in your assigned vehicle but none of your group requested for soda.

No frills private ride to three vineyards selected by us. After two tastings we were happy to have paid for a driver, especially one who was pleasant and accommodating.

We booked this after another tour cancelled. It ended up being a last minute alternative and it worked out well. The option of experiencing these beautiful wineries without having to drive is priceless and we appreciated William, our driver, taking over this responsibility. William was great. He got us to and from our hotel safely and was flexible with pick up and the locations we wanted to visit. He even sprinted across a busy road to get my friend's hat after it blew out the window. Thank you, William!

Our experience was seamless and our driver very kind, on time, and very flexible when we adjusted our last tour stop. He also ensured at each stop that we were taken care of and that we knew right where to go to start our tour of each vineyard. A fabulous way to experience a wine tour!

There was no AC in the car we were in. The temps were 93 degrees that day. It was extremely hot, he only offered cold waters one time to us.

we regrated it happens that way, we do inspect our Fleet the day before the tour, and everything was fine, Your Driver informed us about the issue ABOUT the A/C and told me he had explained about the unexpected mechanical issue with the A/C and apologized, then opened all of the windows to have Fresh Air while transporting your to the Vinyards, which was less than two hours out of the 5 hours of your tour. The Driver told us there was a mutual understanding since, your choose not to cancel the tour. We tried to replace your vehicle but there was no vehicle available at the time. You guys waited after you have been taken to all of the intended Vinyards and everything was fine apart from the A/C issue and requested a 50% refund, we did not argue or rejected your request just to make up for what happened. Reasonably, there was no need for a bad review after we explained what happened and you paid half of the cost of the tour. "Nothing is going to stop us from giving our future Customers QUALITY SERVICES."

Change of location is not an issue, sometimes we do have difficulties to accommodate a last minute booking for the next day, sometimes it is good to contact your supplier immediately after booking to have a common understanding. Anyway we offer the best to our customers so don't let one person to make us look bad. come and prove them wrong

Misleading Description--Not A Private Tour (your group may be combined with other people)

Pros: + Good value + Driver was very accommodating to our request for itinerary changes + Minivan was older, but clean enough + Driver was prompt and on time + Driver picked us up at our location + Driver was polite and courteous Cons: - This is not a private tour as you may be thinking. My wife and I booked (thinking it was a private tour for just the 2 of us) and were informed the morning of the tour that we would be combined with another group of 2 in the minivan. Felt dishonest or a bit like a bait and switch. - The driver is there just to take you to and from the wineries. There are no "guided tours of each vineyard" or "Learn[ing] about the winemaking process on guided tours" as per the wording in the overview. Overall not a bad experience, just know what you are purchasing. I would appreciate if the operator was more upfront with the fact that your group may be combined with others and that you will have no say in the matter and no way of verifying the COVID vaccination status of the other people with whom you will now be sharing the enclosed space of a small car.

Some people will always find a way to tarnish the reputation of a good business. Our Company will never misled both our current customers and potential customers. Our definition of a Private wine tour is we ensure that we don't disclose an information or activities of our customers during the wine tour and also we make sure we don't combine more than just two couples to a six passengers SUV whenever the need arose, besides there is always a mutual consent between one couple to join the other in the same SUV. We do follow the COVID protocols whenever two separate couples are in one Six passengers SUV. During their tour everyone was wearing a mask including the vaccinated Driver. Unfortunately our "Private Wine Tour" Service is not about teaching people how to make wine, We take people to various wineries, introduced them to the vineyards, show them where to get seated and allowed them to be on their own with friends and have lots of fun .We also encourage them to feel free to ask any question during the whole period of the tour via text messages. Trust me this is not what we are, Come and prove this review wrong. Appreciate your understanding.
