This excursion was ok but unfortunately the guide didnt use a microphone to project her voice. As a result, the couple in the back row didnt hear a word the entire trip . We were in the middle row of the van and had a hard time hearing. The fellow who sat in the front seat had several conversations with the guide/driver which nobody could hear. The guide was very nice but not being able to hear diminished the experience.

The island beautiful. We were here October 15th, and the leaves had not started turning yet. We learned a lot about their oyster and lobster industry.

Trip Advisor SeeSight Tours cancelled and ruined our trip

After getting there at 1 pm, we waited until 1:15 and called seesight tours. They said wait for them to call back. 3 other couples from our cruise ship also waited and was invited into the van. We asked about us, and Dave said he did not have our names. Another van pulled up and loaded another 6 people, again, our name not included. They left and after 1:30, we got a call from seesight saying no driver available. Although a van was parked at the tour office. We tried to make other arrangements (we booked this 3 months ago) and we’re unable to get an alternate booking. They ruined our day at Prince Edward Island

A ride around PEI

Good experience for those without a car. Provided transportation to Anne of Green Gable site, Dalvay beach, and overlook of red cliffs. Did not provide much information about history and culture of the island. If you have a car, no advantage to this tour.

The house itself was amazing but Jack our tourguide spoke so warmly and gave us so much information on the history of the area and Lucy Montgomery that it made for a special day!

Countryside of P.E.I.

It was a nice scenic ride around the countryside. The red cliffs were not an impressive as I thought they would be. It was nice to get a flavor of the area but nothing really took my breath away. Our tour guide, Seth, was very knowledgable about the area. He was very helpful and polite. He helped me get in and out of the van and took some pictures of my husband and I. He dropped us off in town so we didn't have to walk all the way back to town from the ship.

House of Green Gables was interesting and we stopped and learned about oyster farming. However. The tour was supposed to include stopping at a garden and overlooks to the cliffs which we didn't do.

Despite being stuck in downpours from Hurricane Lee and being told that our tour had been cancelled, we had a fantastic tour with an office worker who was excellent despite his telling us he was not experienced as a guide. His explanations of the terrain (red sand and dunes) was superlatve and the Green Gables house exceptional.

This was our first time visiting Prince Edward Island and we wanted a small taste of what the place was about. This tour sufficed—it was just enough time and the guide explained the history of the island and drove us around. The only drawback was the use of a passenger mini-van which made entering and exiting the vehicle for difficult for some limited mobility travelers.

Katherin was an amazing tour guide. She was funny relatable and custom made our experience with what we were interested in seeing. We had a good overview of PEI and Anne of Green Gables.

Lack of communication

We were booked for 9:00 AM pick up at our hotel on Saturday 9/16, received a msg the night before saying to be waiting for our guide between 8:30-8:45. At 9:05 I called the 289 area code number, no answer, left a message, a few minutes later I found and called the 888 number and spoke to Taylor who after a few minutes on hold came back and told me that the tour had been canceled due to road closures caused by the storm. She was very professional and apologetic for the lack of communication and proceeded to book us for the next day which was Sunday 9/17. A few minutes later I received an email saying all tours for the weekend were canceled and that a refund had been issued for our tickets. Since we were only on PEI for the weekend and I’m a lifelong Anne of Green Gables fan I was really disappointed. My husband and I took a cab to the airport and rented a car and drove to the PEI preserve company, Anne of GG heritage sight and LM Montgomery museum. We really enjoyed seeing everything, weather was good, no closed roads or trees down. I’m wondering if we were the only 2 people booked for the tour and if it wasn’t really worth their time and gas money to take out only 2 guests… just a hunch. The storm had obviously blown out to sea and wasn’t forecasted to be problematic, easy excuse for them

Local tour operator changed booking time. Too late for us to make tour. This platform is impossible to communicate effectively. Either this platform or operating your company are scammers.

BUYER BEWARE! On July 26th 2023 I purchased a See Sight Tour of the Anne of Green Gables (in Cavindish, PEI) for September 9th, 2023 using their vendor - Viator. During the conversation with the Viator representative, I confirmed that the tour company - See Sight Tours, offered pick up service as part of the tour and would pick me up at my campground location in Cornwall, PE. The rep confirmed that they would and added that notation to my confirmation email and listed my pick up location on my e-ticket. On the day of the tour I received an email from Viator asking me to confirm my reservation and pick up location via an online link. When I attempted to make the confirmation I received a warning message that my pick up location was outside the physical boundary of the tour operator’s pick up area. I immediately called the tour operator - See Sight Tours, who advised that they would not pick me up even though my ticket clearly stated the confirmed street address of my campground. As I have no alternative mode of transportation to get to another pick up location, I requested a full refund but was told that they would retain $50 of the $123.41 ticket price even though I had verbal confirmation and pick up instructions on my ticket confirming that they would pick me up. I’m sharing this experience with you to make you aware that Viator and See Sight Tours misled, misinformed and were dishonest in their dealings with me. It’s pretty obvious the two have a disconnect in their business operations, but it’s unfair and bad business practice to punish the customer for their internal issues - it’s unconscionable and bad customer service. It is my hope you will be extremely cautious should you consider dealing with either of these companies.

Not a Well Planned Trip

We went to all the places listed in the itinerary but the “tour guide” seemed to have very little information planned so he primarily ended up having a dialog with one passenger who sat in the front passenger seat. The guide also kept looking at the front seat passenger and frequently took his hands off the wheel to use them to emphasize a point. We felt uncomfortable with his driving and it seemed like we were just passengers on someone else’s personal trip. We also heard a lot about the drivers family which was irrelevant to us. In addition, the driver discouraged the front seat passenger from buying a house on the island because people on PEI were “very clannish and unwelcoming”. Not a good tour, don’t book with them.

Seeing the middle of the Island and Ann of Green Gables The tour guide was too quiet for the people in the back. This was mentioned a few time that he had to speak up. The guides new a speaker phone on their heads as I realize they cannon turn around and talk. the guide went for miles without speaking and there were things that he could have told us as to what we were seeing or where we were going. That was a big problem for all of us. It was raining and he had no umbrella (as we saw other guides from the same company had). No indication of what the company was as the car was not marked

Very poor service

Poor experience, I had an organized Bus Tour for the best of PEI, yesterday Wednesday September 6th am and the driver never showed up. I received a text message and email the night before and I waited 20 minutes for nothing and was never advised the tour apparently had been cancelled, the driver being sick, as I never got a text message, an email or a call from them. I had to call See Sight Tours and I was told the the tour was cancelled and they did take responsability for it, therefore I asked for a full refund. I will never go with See Sight Tours again,, as they do not care at all about their customers.
