Turnén var perfekt! ! Det gick så smidigt! ! Vår förare och reseguide var fantastiska. Super hjälpsam, extremt kunnig och väldigt tillmötesgående! Turnén är värd varenda krona. Little disorganized, but a great Machu Picchu experience otherwise

It was a little disorganized, but we made it to machu picchu and back. The guide that meet us was sweet and very knowledgeable. The only disappointment was the free time allowed in Aguas Caliente was not very specific. We were told someone would be waiting for us at the train station, but no one was. There was not a lot of time before the train back to eat, so we really didn't eat all day. Then we hit traffic going back to cusco. Not their fault, but it made for a very long day, just be prepared.

The pickup timing was great at both pickup points. Only issue was instructions and time for breakfast was not given. We had bought a sandwich there in town before getting on the bus up to the ruins, but we didn't know we had to eat it there while in line and cannot eat in the bus and no place up at the ruins to eat. For the cost of this tour I think at least a small breakfast and water should be included with your booking. We received our pickup instructions which had the actual time to be picked up the night before but it would be better to be received a week earlier or a few days, over email as not everyone have WhatsApp. There was a couple we talked to that received it 2 hours before going to bed the night before the tour and had to quickly pack and got lucky enough to have looked into WhatsApp and found their real pickup time.

the tour was super organized and it was easy to communicate with the guide. all of the transportation was pre-arranged for us, and it was easy to understand the logistics. the guide was very knowledgable and provided a lot of history context on machu picchu, and even took great photos of us along the way! highly recommend this tour!!

Great Machu Picchu

Had a great time seeing Machu Picchu with our guide Javier. The train ride to Agua Caliente was partly in the dark since we left Ollantorambo at around 530am but it’s a long day trip and starting early meant we were in Machu Picchu around 11am. At first it was cloudy but then the clouds parted and we got to see the site in perfect weather. Javier guided us to great spots for ideal pictures. He taught us about Incan history and culture and was terrific. Machu Picchu is highly regulated but the tours and buses are well coordinated and everything is organized. Before our train left we had time for lunch and pleasant sightseeing in Agua Calientes

Great Experience, Rony Made it Even Better

This was an unforgettable trip for my wife and I. I had been wanting to do this trip with my wife for years and Rony made it special with his knowledge of the site and its history, his attention to detail, his sincere and genuine care for the wellbeing and experience of his group, and his friendliness to us. The site itself and exploring it are a privilege and the experience of a lifetime, but Rony's personal care and attention and narration of the history of the site made this an experience we will never forget.

Our tour guide Rony was absolutely amazing, and our driver Carlos was incredible. It’s an early start to the day, but they provide ample opportunities for bathroom breaks and to get breakfast. I would recommend waiting a full day in Cusco to acclimate to the elevation before doing this tour. Tony was great and we took breaks during the ascent so it made it easy and he took his time with us.

From the moment we were picked up, we were impressed with the level of professionalism with all of the staff. The journey to Machu Picchu from Cusco is admittedly long and can be complicated since you’re taking multiples means of transportation, but the instructions given were very clear and the transitions were seamless. It’s a very long day so I’d recommend buying snacks the day before to bring with you. Our guide at the site, Javier, was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and fun and took many pictures of each group in multiple areas. We returned to Aguas Calientes (the town below Machu Picchu) around 12:30pm and our train didn’t depart until 5:20pm so we had a lot of time to kill, which was our only criticism. Otherwise, a great experience!

Our guide, Roy, was funny, knowledgable, and patient. Absolutely awe inspiring experience. Pictures just don't convey the scale of Machu Picchu. The climbing was reasonable. The views were unforgettable. The other people we met that day on the tour were also a lot of fun.

The guide was very knowledgeable, and passionate about protecting Machu Picchu heritage. This place is a must for any ones bucket list. this place is mesmerizing. It's a long day from Cusco, but well worth it.

High expectations, but only only average experience..

Guides and people were nice. However, logistically, Viator failed. Two other trips in Cusco were awesome. 1. The reason why I chose Viator was my past great experiences in France and other places. I couldn’t book the Machu Picchu time/date I wanted on my own as they were sold out on the Peru govt sites, thus I chose Viator because they had what I was looking for. THEN, the night before trip, the time of departure was changed by 1 hr, 20 minutes. How could this be when Machu Picchu is based on strict timed entries? Viator cited “weather”. However, it’s to be efficient and cost effective for YOUR needs, NOT MINE! 2. Our travel guide Javier DID NOT meet us at train station as directed. He subbed it out to a few females who placed us in the shuttle line. Ok, if he was tied up on another tour, why not have some transparency and give us the shuttle tickets and we meet him topside? Instead he was doing sneaky stuff to either save himself a trip up/down the mountain or to finish up a prior tour. Both us and the other couple had to separately reach out to the bigger boss, (Ronny), who had to reach Javier so he could get one of his girls to finally give us the shuttle tickets. Upon arrival at top, I did not appreciate his snide remarks. After that, his tour was excellent as he was a subject matter expert. However, initially not having shuttle tickets and being in limbo and not knowing what was going on, was very annoying. 3. After a long day, train and then tour bus back to Cusco, a car service driver met us in Cusco. However, we had to wait for the other couple to arrive in Cusco so he could cram all 4 of us in his little Toyota. We had separate pickups in the morning departing from separate hotels. Again, not a good way to end a trip to cram strangers in the same LITTLE car. Either give us separate cars back or have a van. Total garbage move. We paid over $700 for two people for the entire day. That’s a lot of money for us not to have gold star treatment. Disappointed in Viator. I understand it’s a huge volume of people but have some transparency and don’t lie to me, it’s offensive.

This tour was a very smooth way to see Machu Picchu. It was extremely convenient to have pickup, train tickets, site tickets, and guide all included in one package. I appreciated how organized everything was. The company will message you via WhatsApp the day before with a full itinerary of the day, so you know exactly what to expect. Train tickets are distributed on the bus ride to Ollantaytambo station. Our Machu Picchu tour guide, who met us in Aguas Calientes, was excellent.

Tour Operators were terrible

The train to take us home was 2 hours late, the vistadome is super tiny and not very exciting to watch, Machu Picchu was great. The operator who booked us used the wrong names so police came after us at the top of machu pichu despite us having the tickets with our name, reservation, payment verification, and passports! Just travel to Aguas Calientes yourself and book a bus up. It will save you time, money, and hassle. The guide who told us the history of machu pichu while there was great. The rest was awful.
