En fantastisk dag med unika upplevelser

Vi hade en fantastisk dag ut. Vår guide var mycket informativ och underhållande. Hans energinivåer var desamma vid 18:30 som det var vid 5 20 am. Drive var mycket bekvämt och vi hade en stor uppsättning medpassagerare på bussen också. Även om turnén var full kändes den inte rusad eller trångt. Lunchen var anständig, kan inte klaga. Med tanke på värmen i oktober var vattenmelonsnacks efter kryssningen och den kalla våta handduken ett sådant lättnads suck. Tack för att du tog stor omsorg om oss hela dagen. Jag rekommenderar starkt denna turné, några mycket sällsynta möjligheter att interagera och förstå den aboriginska kulturen.

The views were amazing, Kakadu is really special. Our tour guide Brooke was very kind! She was respectful and informative while showing and talking to us about the history behind the aboriginal art. We had time to explore some areas by ourselves for a bit which was nice. Lunch was yummy and the snacks throughout the day were good too. Bus was very comfy with perfect temp air con. I was in a group of 8 which was great and made it a very comfortable and personal tour. Would recommend for solo travellers. It is quite pricey but I think it’s worth it for the quality of the tour.

Amazing aboriginal paintings, beautiful boat trip with ery funny guide Dennis. Our guide Annie was brilliant, so much knowledge about the culture of the area and about the natural environment. Lunch was great. Loved it!

Brief Introduction to Kakadu but Long Trip!

This tour provided a brief introduction to Kakadu. Unfortunately, much of the tour is spent on the bus! The boat ride was fun - it had been hot & humid but then the heavens opened and we all got drenched! The tour seemed overpriced and did not even include the entrance fee to Kakadu.

My recent tour of Kakadu National Park was marred by underwhelming aspects, notably the $340 price tag and the uninspiring food. Despite the hefty cost, the culinary offering consisted of plain chicken and salad, a far cry from what one would expect for such an expense. While Kakadu's natural beauty remains captivating, the lackluster food and high price diminish the overall value of the experience. Consider other tour options offering better culinary experiences for a more enjoyable visit to Kakadu.

The whole tour was very spiritual, my partner is indigenous from another state and was honoured to see and feel the history of his ancestors. The cruise was our favourite as it was beautiful, peaceful and the guide was awesome

Good but a short time in the park

Brooke our guide was excellent! Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and engaging for the entire day. Plenty of snacks throughout the day and a nice lunch were served and she made sure we had chances to fill up our water bottles at every stop. The tour itself was a long day which I expected. About 6 hours of driving round trip and the bus was quite small so my knees were digging into the seat in front of me the whole way. Honestly not a lot of time is spent in the park due to the time constraints. About an hour looking at the paintings and then an hour and a half for the cruise. The cruise was nice since we saw lots of crocs, but no other wildlife. This will do if you only have one day but really it's a lot of travel for not much time in the park. But great guide and well organized!

Offroad Dreaming offers a brilliant same-day tour to Kakadu, which I highly recommend. Mike was the most knowledgable guide, his time here in the NT and experience makes him a top tour guide. The coach was very comfortable, we were cool, well-fed and watered throughout the day. The walk to the Ubirr Rock Art was unforgettable, plus the climb to the top gave us a 360 degree view of the floodplain. The boat ride on the East Alligator river was another highly recommended experience, along with the opportunity to buy Indigenous art direct from the artist. Mike's interesting and factual commentary rounded out an exceptional day.
