Minivandring till Perito Moreno-glaciären

Överlag bra! Fantastiskt väder och guider var vänliga och kunniga. Den enda anledningen till att det inte var en 5:a var kommunikationen från den lokala byrån var udda. Jag kunde kommunicera med dem med hjälp av vårt hotells receptionist på vandringens morgon. Den lokala byrån sa att dagen före vandringen skickade de e-post men jag svarade inte (jag har inte fått e-post från dem). Viator kunde kommunicera med mig via e-post, men den lokala byrån kunde inte, gav Viator den lokala byrån en felaktig e-postadress? Jag ringde också den lokala byrån dagen innan men går till röstbrevlådan (det var runt 15.00).

Ett måste!!!

Seamless execution. Full day (8.30am-6.30pm) tour with everything taken care of. Weather wasn’t great but it didn’t take anything away from the experience. Friendly and communicative guides. Highly recommend

It was an amazing experience! All the program was pretty good. Even though is not cheap, it's totally worth it. From the bus that take you to the national park and the boat that transport you to Perito, we had a great guide to the hiking in the glacier. The are always with you and aware that there are not problems. The hike is just about an hour, but it's incredible to hike that huge Glaciar. It's like your unique experience in the Antarctica. After all the Adventure, we ended our day on the walk views where you can see all the Glaciar from above. We really loved the experience and the day was pretty nice and clear.

Don't miss out on this amazing hike on Perito Moreno glacier! The company Hielo y Aventura is professional and amazing. There are many tour groups to Perito Moreno, but none of them take you to hike on the glacier itself, except this one by Hielo y Aventura. Highly recommend!

Excellent adventure on a glacier with many different viewpoints

We are so glad we decided to do this mini-trekking adventure on the glacier. Our guides, Victoria and Nico, were excellent and well equipped to show us various forms within the glacier and helped us get as close as was safe to many different structures. The day begins by being picked up at your hotel in El Calafate (as long as there is a reception desk!). Then there is a short bus ride to a viewpoint to take pictures of the glacier from a distance before getting on a boat to the far side of the glacier. Your guides walk you through the process of putting on safety equipment and providing info on the glacier itself before you get onto the glacier for about 1.5 hours of trekking. There are plenty of stops to take pictures throughout! At the end there is a little “ice bar” with glacier ice and whiskey (or water) before you walk back to the visitor center for lunch. You have to bring your own food but you can sit and view the glacier and enjoy the vistas for about 1 hour before the boat returns. There is also free coffee and tea here but bring your own mug/thermos! The excursion ends with a longer boat ride to catch glimpses of the glacier again and then a stop at the walkways on the other side of the glacier for about an hour. There is a coffee shop and cafeteria here for snacks if you want. Then they will drop everyone back off at their hotels in El Calafate. Our trip lasted from 7:30am to 6pm ish

Very unique experience to see and walk on a glacier! Amazing you can walk on it and at the end get a small whiskey tasting on the ice. After the trek, you have time to eat your lunch and then you go to the walking bridges to see the glacier from there. Not very physically demanding. Tip: Bring gloves but if you forget they have some. We got lucky and it didn’t rain. It was cold with the windchill at times so a hat that fits under the helmet would be great as well as a scarf. It does get warm in between/after wards, but mostly was very cold on the ice in mid March so layer up. Would def recommend this!

A experience of a lifetime!!! Initially I thought would be a quick picture here and there and move to the next place but was exactly the opposite. You have plenty of time to be at the platform where you have the overview of the glacier, then we move into the boat and finally we are guidee through the glacier for a very good walk. We had a blast... the views are absolutely breathtaking and the all tour super well organized. We definetly recommend this to everyone whos gonna visit Perito Moreno. Thank you

Had an Incredible time at the perito Moreno, the bus guide was really fun and friendly, and picked us up at a timely manner. She gave us a brief history of Calafate and Patagonia as well as los glaciated national park while we travelled from our hotel to the park. the guide was incredible knowledgeable about glaciers and answered every question I had. Crampons took a bit to get used to but once I did it felt natural, it even felt weird to take them off after haha. The views are absolutely stunning, this was probably one of the best experiences of my life, I could not recommend it more.
