Fantastisk turné för att se mycket på lite tid. Efterrättsturen med kamelturer var höjdpunkten i Merzougaöknen! Hussain vår guide var fantastisk, att kunna kommunicera på många språk, mycket kunnig och karismatisk! Men om du inte reser bra kanske detta inte är något för dig (8 timmars körning per dag). Det finns också några tidiga morgonstarter!

Fantastisk resa på vägen, super välorganiserad och definitivt värd. Jag är en person som gillar att gå och utforska när du är på semester, men den här turen, trots att den inkluderar en lång sträcka som täcks av skåpbil, kommer den också att ge dig massor av fantastiska stopp med tid att utforska, lära sig och njuta av landet och kulturen. Fouad aka Dozi, vår förare och huvudguide (turnén inkluderar andra guider på olika platser), var bara fantastisk och skapade omedelbart en grupp vänner atmosfär som gjorde upplevelsen unik.

Fantastisk roadtrip genom unika landskap

Vilken otrolig upplevelse. Turnén tog oss genom fantastiska vyer av riktigt unika landskap och berberbyar - jag hade aldrig sett något liknande. Vår förare Abdul gick utöver det vanliga för att se till att vi var glada och bekväma hela tiden. Var beredd på att dagarna mestadels är bilfärder, men det går inte att komma runt detta om du vill se Sahara- och Atlasbergen som kommer från de kejserliga städerna. Jag diskuterade bokning av denna anledning... Jag var dock inte uttråkad på enheterna eftersom det finns så mycket att titta på. Upplevelsen i Sahara är oförglömlig!

STAY AWAY....VERY BAD

HORRIBLE experience with lots of mishaps and neglect from tour leaders. BE WARNED that the logistics are not well organized and the description is inaccurate. The food options for lunch are expensive and the worst of what Morocco has to offer. The meals provided were also the worst of what Morocco has to offer. You'll be rushed through all the great areas of Morocco. You'll waste a lot of time waiting for organizing, sitting through a sales pitch, and walking through an empty market. If you pay for the upgrade, you may not be placed in the right accomodations because of lack of organization and poor communication. The bus driver doesn't remember names after the initial pick-up and more than likely won't be your driver after the Camping night. There are many points where people are being swapped around and it's easy for them to screw up who paid for what. A couple on my bus didn't get anything they paid for because they weren't on the right tour. Everyone on my bus booked a different tour on different sites for different prices but got the same things. I was placed in a hotel room with a total stranger from my bus because they ran out of hotel rooms, even though I paid for the upgrade for "luxury". They initially placed me in the non-luxury camp (definitely not as nice as the luxury) and then had to transport me to the luxury camp. My bag was in the wrong area during the shuffle and needed to be transported also. I got to the correct camp at 10:00pm, had to wait in a very long line for a terrible buffet dinner and got my bag at 11:30pm with a 5am wake up call. Would highly recommend just renting your own car and seeing Morocco's beautiful landscape on your own time. The Dades valley was the highlight and we got 15min there. The camel ride and camping were great despite the logistical errors, but you can also just book those outside the tour. And you can ensure a better experience then being thrown in with over a 100 people attempting to be placed in the correct place. There was absolutely no organization of drop offs when arriving in Marrakech. Everyone was expected to provide the driver with exact navigation on where they should be dropped off even though most people have never been to Marrakech and don't know the closest access points to get to their riads in the medina. Know that if you ask any questions to confirm or clarify that the answer is always to brush you off. There was no stop to the valley of roses and the 2nd night was in a hotel in the most city part of Ouarzazate and not at a riad in Dades valley.

Do not pass this up!

Mohamed was the BEST! He took care of us and made sure we stopped at the cleanest W.C.s. There was never a moment when we didn't have fun! I insist that when you come to Morocco, you take this tour. You will see Morocco like you can never see on your own. Thank you Mohamed!!

Great way to see Morocco

This tour was great! This was so much more than the Sahara and a great way to see more of the country. While there is a lot of driving, it’s worth being able to see different parts of the country. I do not recommend this tour if you only want to see the Sahara. The tour guide was helpful and funny. The minibus was great and comfortable. Accommodations were comfortable.

Fez to Marrakesh Adventure

We embarked on an unforgettable journey from Fez to Marrakesh, through the Atlas mountains, with one night spent in the desert. Our amazing driver, Aimed (known as the desert man), was an absolute gem. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, offering invaluable assistance and enriching our trip with delightful detours to charming spots for photos, dining and shopping. Without hesitation, we wholeheartedly endorse Aimed (the desert man) for an exceptional experience. Unfortunately, we had windy weather in the desert, so the stars were not visible and we couldn't enjoy the splendid sunset/sunrise we were expecting. We recommend checking the weather conditions before booking or staying for more nights. Riding camels was an absolute highlight, highly recommended for the thrill-seekers. However, our night at the desert camp left something to be desired. We felt a bit neglected and uncertain about the program. The atmosphere in the camp was a bit forced and very touristy, taking away the tranquility of the desert. Nevertheless, the conditions in the tent were exceptional and we had many food options. Despite these minor setbacks, our overall experience was truly memorable, and we enthusiastically recommend it to all adventurers seeking an authentic desert escapade.

Abdulrahman was the absolute best. He made us all very comfortable and safe. He drove really well, was always punctual and was great to speak to. The tour had lots of wonderful sights and people, the accommodation was comfortable and food was great. The highlight would definitely be Abdulrahman’s company and our time in the van together. Would definitely recommend.

One of our best experiences ever. Abdellah and Hakim were amazing, they made the whole experience above and beyond, we learned so much about the Berbers and nomadic peoples of Morocco, including visiting houses, having tea, and learning about practices and history. We went all the way from the dunes of the Sahara, to the Atlas Mountains and canyons, and saw so many amazing sights. 100% recommend!

A truly incredibly few days. Over three days you get to experience so much of the beautiful Moroccan landscape and culture. I think that the stops on the tour are well curated and it’s relatively well-paced. The desert camp is really nice (there are proper beds and lots of blankets, toilets and showers, etc.), just be mindful that there’s no heating so make sure to dress appropriately for cold evenings depending on when you go. Our driver, Aimed, was great and really looked out for us. He gave us great tips and pointed out notable features/locations throughout the drive. Also, I’m someone with really bad car sickness and I was stressed about how much driving was involved in this experience, but Aimed was such an incredibly smooth driver and I had no problems the whole time. I truly cannot stress enough how good of a driver Aimed is, I HIGHLY recommend. Overall, a very worthwhile experience. My friend and I had a great time and I think anyone else would too.

The trip was great, you see a wide range of moroccan landscapes. The driving didn’t feel like too much, as there were regular breaks and we just chilled/slept in between - I didn’t know sitting down could be so tiresome ;) Highlights include driving around the Atlas Mountains and stopping at Ait Ben Haddou. The desert stay was pleasant, simple food, beautiful views of the stars. We booked a standard tent for the desert stay, it was very simple, concrete floor, two single beds, one plug and light switch. The toilets and showers were separate, they were very clean but no soap/shampoo provided. The shower we didn’t use as in December it was far too cold on the evening/morning (sometimes -1 degrees). From conversations with others it appeared that you really didn’t get much more booking the luxury option other than private toilet/shower. Perhaps in the hotter months this would be nicer to have. The camel ride to the tents lasted longer for us than it did for others. And we did worry about the treatment of the camels as they are tied together by their noses and often whaling in pain when pulled too quickly. We opted for a quad bike the following morning instead 400MAD for solo, or 500MAD for a shared quad. Our driver Aymed took very good care of us. He was a great driver and we felt safe with him. Often giving us tips and things to watch out for. We had begun to found the food monotonous on the food stops but he was very happy for us to try somewhere that we’d found on google maps. Overall, I’d highly recommend this trip - the standard tour felt extremely good value for money. I would think twice before booking luxury unless a private shower (you might not use) is essential.
