Svetlana, vår guide var vänlig och mycket kunnig om Tallin. Man kunde också säga att hon var stolt över sin stad och sitt land. Vi njöt mycket av vår tid med henne. Vi rekommenderar starkt denna tjänst och företaget och skulle inte tveka att använda dem igen.

Sergei var en fantastisk reseguide. Vi är så glada att vi tog en dagstur för att se den vackra och historiska staden Tallinn. Kryssningen var bekväm och hade allt vi skulle ha velat ha på en 2 timmars resa. Rekommenderar definitivt.

Informative and Delightful Ferry ride and tour of Tallinn Estonia with great transportation

My wife and I had an unexpected private tour of Tallin due to the reduced tourist travel during Covid. Our guide was a perfect English speaker who was extremely knowledgeable in the history of Estonia and took us to special places that we would have never found on our own. His recommendation for a lunch restaurant was superb. Also very impressive is that we were picked up at our hotel a 9:15 AM, greeted at the ferry terminal in Helsinki when we returned at 10:15 PM and driven back to our hotel which was quite a distance. Overall a 5 star experience!

Quick Trip To Tallinn

We were staying in Helsinki on honeymoon after getting married in Copenhagen -and decided on a day trip across the Baltic to Tallinn. We were picked up promptly from the hotel in Helsinki - met in Tallinn by Sergei, the guide (who gave us a brilliant and informative tour - and got us back to the ferry port later after some free time) - and met again on the return by a driver at the port in Helsinki which us saved us getting soaked in the rain. We were picked up promptly from the hotel and were brought to the ferry. The coach driver whose name eludes me at this time had a professional demeanor and was respectful. My husband and I were quite surprised with how huge and comfortable the ferry Megastar is! We were even more captivated with Tallinn! Our local tour guide, Eugenia, made it possible for us to understand and appreciate the rich history of Estonia, especially its struggles and how they are continually able to overcome and surpass challenges as a nation. So many beautiful spots in Tallinn, especially in the Old City. If not for our tour in Denmark, we would have stayed for a couple of days in this gorgeous country!

Wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable. Pickup and drop were on time. We had a pleasant conversation on the ride to the ship. The only criticism I would give is during the three hour guided tour, it would have been nice if we were anle to take a drink and restroom break. I would suggest when we got to one of the platforms, the guide allowing us 10 minutes or so to take photos, stop for a drink and a restroom break. Other than that, the tour was fabulous! Our tour guide was Maria, and our drivers were Ivan (Helsinki) and Helen (Tallinn) Thank you for a wonderful excursion!

Very nice trip and well organized. Nice travel, very interesting to see historical places in Estonia and learn more about their history. The guide was very good, knowledgeable. The old city was very nice and then we have some free time over the city. Highly recommended!

The tour guide was informative and engages us the whole day tour with the life of Tallinn residents. It was really an eye opener for us! The tour period was just nice and we appreciate the pick up and drop off at our hotel too.

This day trip was fabulous! Great transport to and from the terminals in Helsinki and Tallin and a wonderful guide in Tallin Helen. We got lots of history and commentary about Estonia and Tallin and then had 2.5 hours to roam around on our own. If you are going to only have one day to spend in Tallin, this is absolutely the way to go!

Local guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. Four guests two couples travelled with her in her small car which was very cramped and uncomfortable. Tour was one hour by car and two hours on foot, plus three hours of free time. Add on transfers from hotel to ferry and back and a two hour ferry ride each way made for a very long day. Tallin was interesting, but not really worth all the hassle. Would have been better off just spending the day in Helsinki.

We really appreciated being picked up in the morning and taken to the ferry terminal and dropped off back at our hotel when we got back from Tallinn. We had a wonderful guide in Tallinnand really enjoyed seeing the old city. There was enough free time at the end for us to sit at a café and have some dinner and a beer and watch the people in the City Hall Square. There were a couple of things that were not clear on our voucher which would've helped decrease some of the stress of traveling. It would be nice to know how we were to find the tour guide in Tallinn once we got there and that our driver would be at the terminal meeting us when we returned holding up a sign. It was the same driver we had going to the terminal but he didn't speak much English to tell us how we would meet him at the end. The ferry ride is two hours both ways but the boat is very comfortable with lots of seating and a place to get food if desired..

This ended up being a great tour, I just was surprised how it was coordinated. We had someone pick us up from the hotel and basically dropped us off at the port, taking us to the line we needed to wait in to get our cruise tickets. It was kind of like will call, but he left us to wait in the line on our own and to board the cruise ship and sail over. Looking back it makes sense the real guide would be in Tallin and we would meet them there, but just wasn't expecting to be dropped off. It worked out great though as we could relax on our own for the cruise to Tallin, both ways. It is like a huge cruise ship with bars and entertainment and shopping and restaurants. Once we got to Tallin, the guide was supposed to be waiting at the dock, but no one was there and I had to call the reservation number and within 15 minutes the guide arrived. He said there was a miscommunication on their end. It ended up being just me and my friend on the tour. It was great and the driving took us all around by car and we would stop and get out at significant things. We got to walk through old town and went into a great little bar for a drink and a snack. It reminded me of the Leaky Cauldron in Harry Potter! He then drove us back to the port and we boarded the cruise ship and was able to have steak and wine at the restaurant on the cruise ship back. All in all it was a great day, I just gave it 4 stars based on the few miscommunications on the set up, but it worked out for the best! I would definitely recommend!

This was a good tour overall - Tallinn is an incredible city and having the bus take us around was wonderful. The tour guide was very well versed with the history of the area. However, for the price and it being a private tour, I feel that the bus and tour guide could have been more accommodating of our timing and preferences. The bus seemed to be on its own schedule and we had to rush from point to point which kind of defeated the purpose of a private tour.
