Vilken fantastisk upplevelse! Vår förare, Shannon, var precis i tid för hämtning och gav en fantastisk dag. Han var informativ, rolig och fick resan att kännas som om du var med familjen. Det var fantastiskt att träffa de andra gästerna och höra lite om var de ifrån också. Vi besökte många fantastiska platser på ön och det var ett bra sätt att se platser du kanske vill gå tillbaka till och besöka. Jag rekommenderar starkt denna turné och denna förare!

Best way to see Oahu in one day

Cousin Guy was great! You could tell he loves what he does. He was very informative and entertaining. We felt like we were on our own private tour. Way better than the big buses. No worries about going hungry on this tour. He hit the iconic Hawaiian eateries including shrimp, shaved ice, macadamian nuts, and Dole whip. This tour is perfect if you only have a few days and want to see the entire island. Only one issue. Please fix the A/C on his bus. It was cooler outside than it was on the bus.

OK, but way too many shopping stops.

Seeing the turtles, and the double scoop ice cream at one of the shopping stops. No interesting, educational demonstrations e.g. how they plant, grow and harvest pineapples, how to prepare them and perhaps give samples of fresh pineapple, etc. The same thing at the macadamia nut farm, etc. Way to many retail shopping stops on this tour. Also the bus AC didn't work and we had to change buses at our first stop. I was looking forward to the sit down shrimp dinner, but it got cancelled because apparently they wouldn't answer the phone to take our orders. Instead we went to a collection of rundown looking food trucks which reportedly were good, but ?? The guide/drivers information never seemed to get clearly to us in the back of the bus, which raised a lot of confusion as to where/ what was going to happen next. Overall, this tour requires less shopping stops and more informational/educational experiences.

We signed up to take the tour on our first day in Oahu. Papa P was our guide. He was a gracious host. I enjoyed seeing the entire island. In the past I only saw the Waikiki area. I would recommend the opportunity to explore the other parts of Oahu early in your trip.

A lot jammed into a short ride

Most "stops" were drive-bys. The actual stops felt very rushed, and many were pretty much shopping spots. Probably should have stuck to the Hop On/Hop Off buses.

If you’re questioning whether you should do this tour or not…definitely do it! I had a great time seeing lots of different points. Our tour guide was the best! Papa P was very knowledgeable of the land. I learned a lot of the island because of him. We had a great lunch at a shrimp place and he took us to some local shops. I got food and souvenirs from each stop. Totally worth the price of the tour!

This is a great way to see all the sights in Oahu. Shannon was our driver and he kept us completely informed of everything - where we were, what we were seeing and tales of Hawaii'n life. He had an engaging voice and made the tour very enjoyable. We even got to see a turtle when we stopped for a snorkel.

Papa P was THE BEST guide. He made all of us feel like family. He gave us a little bit of history or told a short story about the island as we drove through the different areas. Papa P gave us suggestions on where to go/where to stand for the best views. He was very patient. He was extremely accommodating. He has a wonderful spirit. He went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable tour. A must do!! Be sure to clear your schedule because it is an all day adventure.

Papa P was one of the best tour guides. Very enjoyable for all on the trip. All of the sites we stopped at were beautiful and Papa P would answer any questions and stayed involved with his group. He had some great stories about the island and how the different cultures came about.

Papa P was a great tour guide. He went above and beyond what we would expect from a tour guide. He had drinks and snacks for us. He told us so many stories about the island and his family. He even sang us a few songs while playing the guitar that had the whole bus applauding when he was done. There was no rush throughout the day since everyone had the flexibility of getting home when it was done so it was a nice enjoyable day He ordered our shrimp lunch ahead of time from Tanaka so that we did not have to wait in line and even brought his wife’s famous macaroni salad for us to enjoy while we ate our lunch. Would highly recommend.

Shannon was a great tour guide, enjoyed the history of the destinations we visited. Snorkeling was not the highlight, although the turtles were there in the shallow water…you don’t need to snorkel to see the turtles. Meals along the way were perfect and ordering ahead for lunch was smart, beat the big bus rush. I thought the pace was good, kept moving. The tour group size of less than 15 was perfect, more engaging. Some down sides of the tour was diamond head crater was not actually the crater, it was the lookout on the highway at the base, but the pictures were still good. I definitely recommend, good value. My 14 and 16 old enjoyed it too!

Worst tour guide ever!

Worst tour guide ever The day started out bad and continued to get worse as it went on! I had received 3 texts stating the pickup location was at across from restaurant row at 0815. I was there at 0750! Hi, we'll pick you up@8:15am -PIER 2 SERENADE OF THE SEAS ACROSS RESTUARANT ROW- GRAND CIRCLE ISLAND -TOMORROW-02/19- 808-824-3995 fhbr.co/e1h19-EAka At 0811 I received a call from the driver to call him back! I immediately called! It took 4 calls before he answered and not his voicemail! He states” You have 3 minutes to be inside the gates on the bus or I am leaving you! I am on 02 so that wasn’t going to happen! When I got to the bus he stated very rudely “It’s about time!” I was at the correct location to start! He started talking and showed us a laminated paper of a menu. A man asked to see it and he tossed it on the dashboard and said, “This is my tour and I will do things in my time! Extremely rude! We then made an unplanned stop at a strip mall for souvenirs! They was China junk very over priced. A woman asked him how many people he said 23! So he got a kickback! The tour was to have a max of 20!!! We continued the day with him parking the farthest spot away from the door and NEVER got out of the van to help the guests in or out of the van even though there were handicapped people! Any time a question was asked he replied, “If you give me time I will answer that!” He never did!! We did not stop at published stops! Did not stop on the northern shore! When asked whe he again rudely said” I told you three times there are police cars that will ticket us if we stop! He had NEVER said anything about the northern beaches or police! The lunch he told us would have 8 large pieces of shrimp, rice and fruit and a drink! The plate I received had 5 smaller sized cold pieces of shrimp, two scoops white rice and a small piece of pineapple. The can of tea was lukewarm! He mad a big push for tips again right before he dropped us off! I was in the back of the bus so when I reached him he had his hand out! I told him he lost his tip when he was rude to me before I even was on the bus! To my surprise he responded, “BITCH”! I would like my money back including the $20 for lunch because we were not given any choice! I hope this is not the caliber of tour guides that you use for this location, Travelocity or Viator!

Poor driver

The driver Shannon did not help us to have a great experience. He was rude. He kept talking about tipping him. He hardly left the bus to show us good spots. It talked about food too much and not history of the island. I also thought he was a poor driver…hands off the wheel.
