Wonderful Mountain Experience with the Best Swiss Native!

First and foremost, I would recommend this tour to anyone! It was an absolute blast, even better than described and expected. We had Adrain as a tour guide and he was FANTASTIC! We got to hear so much about Swiss history and politics, talk a lot about how it compares to other parts of the world, and get the inside scoop on the entire Jungfrau region! We also saw the most incredible views and got to try out a variety of transportation. I would tell anyone that the cable car was no where near as scary as expected! I left sweaty palmed, but was excited to do it again on the way back down. A couple tips, definitely bring a water bottle if it’s going to be warm! There are multiple free drinkable spring water fountains to fill up at and you’ll want it with all of the walking and hills. On that note, wear walking shoes for sure! We did a lot of hills, but it was very doable and worth it. I’d just say be prepared for it. Also, there is a walking path to “hike through the Swiss alps” instead of part of the upper funicular train ride, definitely do this! It’s a little extra walking, but mostly flat and not too far. It’s a completely different view and so incredible stunning. Thank you Adrian for the best day!

Christoph, is a wonderful person and a tour guide. He converse with us and have answered all questions that we asked him. The other good thing about this, is we gained new friend. The tour is amazing, never expected that it will be just me and my husband but I love it.

The tour ended up just being my husband and I so it was very special! Mike was like our own personal tour guide, with lots of knowledge and cool tips to share! Mike went above and beyond, extending the tour to the 10 waterfalls!! 100% recommend!!

While we found Lauterbrunnen to be a magical town, we were disappointed that our guide did not really engage with us other than when we asked him specific questions. One of the reasons we booked this tour was all of the reviews stating how informative the tour guides were so that was a disappointment. While he was a nice man, and we enjoyed the town, this seemed like a lot of money for someone to mainly just provide us with directions to the trains. We did not have what I would consider a tour guide. I think we missed out on that part of the experience compared to others reviews.

The interaction between client and guide can be difficult. Sympathy cannot be forced. While other guests are delighted with the same tour guide, they weren't. No reason to change anything about our tour.

Our guide was a wealth of information and he actually made the excursion so very memorable. On our walk thru both Lauterbrunnen and Murren he told us about the history of the villages, pointed out landmarks, and mountains. He had prepared for each family info on each village and a Swiss map of our journey from Interlaken Ost. Loved the walk between Murren and the gondulas we took. Very enjoyable day that I would recommend to all.

I really enjoyed the fact that it was a small group. Our guide; Rachael, gave us great advice about which side of the train to sit on to have the best view. The views were spectacular. Our only disappointment was the short time we spent in Lauterbrunnen, 3 hours in Murren was too long, the time could have been split more fairly. Our guide was friendly and a mine of information.

Tremmelbach Falls

The valley is beautiful. We were there in between seasons so many of the shops were closed. Although not part of the tour, we decided to take in Tremmelbach falls and that was the highlight of the day.

Small group big sights

Perfect small group tour to see colour the small alpine towns and get your bearings if staying in the area. We opted to do the waterfalls at the end and it was worth it! Very quiet in off peak season which means not much open! Our guide was great and gave us maps and brochures to keep
