Kryssningen var härlig. Väldigt fint och lugnt där ute. Tyvärr fick vi inte mat på båten och mozzies var ganska dåliga men dessutom var det fantastiskt.

Pretty but not worth it

The scenery was beautiful, no crocodiles. Very expensive for just a ride on the river. Definitely not worth the money… or the gastro that came along with drinking their water that is provided in the boat. Cloudy and funky stuff floating- not realising until too late. Several people in our group who drank the water have ended up with medical attention.

Dear Jamie, Thank you for your feedback. It's pleasing to hear you enjoyed the unique beauty of Kakadu's scenery, although we're sorry to hear that the crocodiles were less visible during your visit. Their sightings can indeed be rare this season as the floodwaters provide them with a broader habitat. We take the safety and quality of our drinking water very seriously. Our water is sourced from the billabong and undergoes rigorous external testing monthly to ensure it exceeds safety standards. The yellow tinge you noticed is due to natural tannins in the water, characteristic of the Yellow Water region, and does not affect its safety. Additionally, we implement chlorination and filtration processes, particularly for water provided on our tours. We're concerned to hear about the issues you've mentioned and are investigating to ensure our high standards are maintained consistently. The health and well-being of our guests are our top priorities. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Jess was a great tour guide, very funny and knowledgeable. We toured in wet season which meant we didn’t see any crocs but I we got to see a lot more of the water way. Would recommend :)

Mandy is an outstanding tour guide, sharing her heritage and family's knowledge of the area, wonderful. The cruise is absolutely stunning, with the best of Kakadu on display.
Highlight of our NT visit

My family (mom, dad, 2 teen boys, grandma) took the sunset cruise and it was a highlight of our northern territory as well as whole of australia visit. The scenery was beautiful, and we saw so many bird species as well as tons of crocodiles. The sunset was lovely, such an amazing atmosphere. Our guide Dennis was the best and was full of good information as well as jokes. It was a fun trip and a must-do in our opinion!
Outstanding way to see Kakadu up close

This is a wonderful experience! NO stupid jumping crocodiles. Just lots of crocs and other wildlife doing what they do naturally. There was plenty to see. The landscape is gorgeous. The cruise was not at all rushed. We had an excellent guide as we explored the billabong as well as up- and down-stream on the South Alligator River. Great value for money.

The abundance of the wild life and knowledge of the guide - super experience. Seeing so much wildlife in their natural habitat was a memorable experience. Also the ability of the guide to find birds and other wildlife enhanced the overall experience.

Kakadu's magical river cruise is a must

This cruise was the highlight of my first visit to Kakadu. I loved the profusion of wildlife and how close we got to it. We saw a female jabiru up close, catching a catfish and a croc jump out of the water. We saw many beautiful birds - sea eagles, kites, egrets, plovers, night herons, jacanas, magpie geese and endless varieties of ducks - and even got up close with some buffalo. An extraordinarily wonderful experience.
An immersion in the beauty of nature

We have been on this cruise a number of times and each experience has been completely different. Each experience a total wonder of nature. Our boat pilot was knowledgeable and entertaining with a true passion for nature and the First Nations people. This trip is a total immersion in the wonder and beauty of nature, If only it could be rid of the invasive plant and animals who are a real threat to this environment.

This is my third tour with visitors friends, as previously all 3 guides were great, viewing control with the boat was always pushed in side on to give maximum public views, unfortunately this guide went straight on into were crocs or bird viewing, which made it difficult for people as myself sitting at the back, especially when the middle crowd stood up and moved forward, all viewing for the rear people went out the door. Each year cruise is different, with last year's betting the best one. This year I found manoeuvre of the boat for tourists best view was only good for tourist sitting right in the front 4 to 5 rows
