Dear Jamie,
Thank you for your feedback. It's pleasing to hear you enjoyed the unique beauty of Kakadu's scenery, although we're sorry to hear that the crocodiles were less visible during your visit. Their sightings can indeed be rare this season as the floodwaters provide them with a broader habitat.
We take the safety and quality of our drinking water very seriously. Our water is sourced from the billabong and undergoes rigorous external testing monthly to ensure it exceeds safety standards. The yellow tinge you noticed is due to natural tannins in the water, characteristic of the Yellow Water region, and does not affect its safety. Additionally, we implement chlorination and filtration processes, particularly for water provided on our tours.
We're concerned to hear about the issues you've mentioned and are investigating to ensure our high standards are maintained consistently. The health and well-being of our guests are our top priorities.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back under better circumstances, offering you the outstanding experience Kakadu is known for.
Warm regards,
Jason Cleverley
