Not as described but still great!

We really enjoyed this trip. Our driver was prompt and courteous. This was a private excursion and we were picked up just outside our cruise ship. We were picked up in a four dour sedan taxi. It was a tight fit and we are average sized adults. The ancient Olympia site is a bit of a drive from the cruise ship port and we were a little nervous enroute because the scenery was a bit underwhelming to say the least but it was well worth the drive. Our driver dropped us off at the entrance after assisting with purchasing our tickets (additional cost) and we were able to explore the site and museum on our own. He did provide us a small book with pictures to help us understand what we were seeing as he did not go into the site with us. We actually enjoyed the musuem more than the site itself. We then had the option of going to the winery (additional cost), a honey farm (additional cost) and/or an olive oil mill (no additional cost). We chose the honey farm and olive oil mill just based on the fact that we are not wine drinkers. Both locations were great and we were given a tour/demonstration/brief description of how they work. We ended up bringing home both honey and olive oil. We were disappointed about not going to a beach as this is one of the destinations in the actual Viator title but due to traveling in late October the beaches were closed for the season. However, the other options we were given were very interesting and enjoyable and more than made up for it. Our group also had lunch at a local restaurant with Greek food at our own expense. It was nice to have outdoor seating within walking distance to many shops to grab some additional souvineers after lunch. The only negative about this experience is you are basically just paying for a driver as he just transported us to each location and dropped us off. He was very polite and answered any questions we had and we had no problems on this tour. There should be a disclaimer in the description of this tour related to the beaches only being open seasonally.

Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and considerate. He customized the trip to our liking. The restaurant he took us to in his town was excellent. The people where friendly and glad to have us visit. The olive oil plant was very interesting and the olive oil was great. The Olympic village was fascinating.

Christoff was an excellent accompaniment to our day in Olympia. We navigated through the ancient sites and then had a lovely experience with the honey farm. A nice lunch at a roadside restaurant rounded out our day. All in all tops!

Christof (Christos?) was our entertaining guide. He had our best interest in mind and adapted the tour to what was most time effective while maximizing the experience. The guidebook for Olympia was helpful. We visited Kilos honey farm instead of the winery which was over crowded due to cruise excursions. The one-on-one experience at the honey farm was enjoyed by both of us. At his suggestion, we had lunch at a quaint, tasty restaurant close to the port. It was a remarkable view of the ocean and a pleasant surprise. We recommended this tour for anyone wanting to experience a little more of local activity.

Kris was amazing! He took us early before any of the crowds at the stadium! We decided it was too early for the winery, so he took us to Klio’s local honey farm instead. So much fun! He also took us to a local restaurant for lunch since we had time. He is knowledgeable and was so accommodating! Kris made sure we got back to the port early. Highly recommend!!

Christos picked us up at the port and the connection was very easy even though we were delayed due to having to tender from our ship. He was very knowledgeable about Greece and local history. The Olympic site was interesting, but even more fun was Clio’s honey farm. She is a delight! We got a tour and a lesson about the history of beekeeping. Of course we brought back honey! We didn’t do the winery because it was very hot out and we opted to get lunch at a local cafe. Overall a good tour!

Nancy our guide was amazing. She was very accommodating to how much time we wanted to spend in each area. She took us to a great winery, honey farm and amazing beach with lunch, swimming and chairs and umbrellas. She had so much info to offer about the area. The Olympic ruins and museum were a must see as well

Absolutely the best tour with our driver Nancy, who is from Olympia, and provided us with fantastic advice, options for our tour, and attentiveness. Carried our bags, waited patiently, called for beach seating, offered wine, honey or olive oil options, (we did the wine tout). A fantastic day!

Our guide was excellent! Great communication since our boat was late letting us off. He called around to see when the winery was less crowded and we ended up skipping the beach for an olive oil factory. Ask for “Chris.”

We went to the Ancient Olympic grounds and then to an awesome beach. Our driver was super nice and helpful and the van was spotless and very comfortable. We chose not to go to the winery in favor of more time at a beach. Our driver guide suggested a beach with a lovely café at the top of the hill so that some of the group could swim and some could have a snack and drink with incredible views. I highly recommend this tour/service.

Best part seeing the private view that the driver was able to give of the game site - worst part was the crowds/gravel steep walkways around the site itself and the museum itself was very nice - gift shop was average - total lack of handicap washroom/lift that was available had issues - driver was very good and very helpful - nice shops in the area itself and it was off season otherwise do not go if need to use any type of walker or scooter -

Anesthesía, nuestra chófer, creo una experiencia hermosa para nosotros. Nos recogió puntual en el puerto, nos llevó a la zona arqueológica de los juegos olímpicos temprano por lo que nos tocó sin multitudes, luego nos recomendo un lugar delicioso para desayunar, nos llevó a degustar aceite de oliva a una granja, de ahí a una playa hermosa y pir unos baklavas. Nos estuvo platicando datos muy interesantes de la región. La super recomiendo.
