    Wonderful experience. Our guide, Mel, was so personable, friendly, engaging and informative. The restaurants we visted were yummy!

    The whole experience was awesome! It was great to be able to try different meals which I wouldn't regularly order or try. I would recommend this to everyone. It's a great way to try the local cuisine and learn about the city of Lancaster.

    The tour guide, Mabel, was super helpful, sweet, and accommodating. The group was nice as well. We had a good time doing what we did. The reason we can't give 5 stars is that the foods they said we'd sample weren't really the type of places we visited. This is what the brochure information said: "...diverse mix of international flavors—such as Danish, Cuban, French, Italian, and Ukrainian cuisine." That's what we expected. what we visited an Indian restaurant, a tea shop, a olive oil and vinegar store, a market place where we received an empanada, and latin fusion (Bing), and then ice cream. Again, not the foods we expected at all, and we expected a real food tour. What we did do was interesting, but we were expecting foods that were indicated.

    I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone considering it - the food and vendors are excellent, and Kendra is an incredible tour guide and local resource. She has a wealth of knowledge about the local community & history, and you can tell that her care for local artists, vendors, restaurants, and their respective cultures is deep and genuine. There were only a few of us in our group, so we had more personal and intimate experiences at a few of the stops and got to engage with vendors about their businesses and personal journeys to Lancaster. This was our first tour with Kendra and Unique Lancaster Experiences, but I think it’s safe to say that any of her experiences will be worthwhile and informative and it won’t be our last!

    Kendra gave us a wonderful food tour of downtown Lancaster businesses. The Central Market is loaded with all different kinds of businesses.

    This was so unexpectedly wonderful. My husband and I went on the tour with two teenage boys. We all learned something, a delicious food and had a super fun day. Kendra is an attentive, interesting, lovely host and a terrific ambassador for Lancaster. Hats off to Kendra.

    Our tour guide, Mabel, was enthusiastic and interested in our food stories. We ate generous quantities of delicious international food. Don’t eat ahead of taking the tour! The variety of places we visited was very impressive. I highly recommend this creative way to walk around Lancaster City.

    Had a lovely time Lancaster, PA' Foodie tour. Kendra, our tour guide was excellent. She was not only knowledgeable, but personal as well. She even convinced my husband, who is not open to try new foods. However, he was well pleased. The tour provided plenty of food and of course a variety. We were not hungry to say the least.

    Mable was an outstanding host who was friendly, kind, and made us feel welcome. She knew the shop owners well and had fun stories to tell about some local history of the city. My wife and I were running a few minutes late and Mable was kind enough to call and help us to our first stop.

    We went on the international food tasting tour today with Kendra. She was so knowledgeable about local businesses, foods, and interesting facts. She was so gracious even though a part of our group was late to arrive. All the business owners were happy to see her so i think she must be really well connected there. We had lovely weather for December so it was great to walk around the city. I'm planning to book another tour soon.

    The food was delicious and the stories that were told to us about the business owners were very interesting. The experience as a whole was one of the best things I’ve done this year. So glad we got to experience this and a little rain didn’t stop the fun. Also Kendra, our tour guide, was an absolute pleasure! Highly recommend!

    It was all wonderful! We live in Lancaster county and get to the city often but most of the places we visited were new to us. Mabel was amazing!

    Our guide (so sorry, I don't remember her name) was excellent! As a Welcome City, Lancaster excels in presenting a multi-ethnic experience that was well-represented on this tour with a diversity of food and opportunity to hear the stories of the proprietors.

    Our tour guides, Kendra and Mabel were amazing! They were extremely personable, knowledgeable, and fun! The food was delicious and it was really neat hearing about how some of the immigrants came to Lancaster.

    I try to find a food tour every place we visit and this was a great one, with the exception of all the walking. We learned a lot of city history along with a lot of refugee stories. Of course, we’re unable to remember a lot of the different foods that were eaten, maybe a little flier of foods eaten would be a great hand out!
