The real deal!

If you're you're looking into an intimate authentic and adventurous insight of traditional Lombok culture, flora and fauna, this tour is a must. Our formidable guide Eddi showed us (just me and my wife) how to make traditional coffee, how rice is being produced, how the women make coconut oil, 100's of different plants and animals, a fantastic waterfall ( we skipped the second one due to my wife's pregnancy), the monkey Forrest with wild black monkeys (don't worry, they are shy and won't steal your shiny things), a beautiful meal in the local restaurant and so much more. Fantastic. What impressed us the most is how inviting the whole village was and that it is a small local company. My wife needed a bit of support on certain parts and Eddi and his helper were always there and adapted to our pace and needs. The environment is absolutely stunning and serene and the climate was quite a bit milder than at the coast. Enterprises like these really support the local community and create a beautiful atmosphere for very little money. 6/5 stars. Highly highly recommended.

Such a great tour! It was amazing to see the process of the rice fields, coffee, & coconut. We got to see many monkeys in the forest followed by one of the best lunch/meal we had our entire trip & finished with the amazing waterfall. Our tour guide was informative, funny and had wonderful information to share. Highly recommend this tour! * One thing to note this tour is a 2 hour drive from the cruise port*

My friend and I had a great time on this excursion and really felt as though we were able to get close to the culture and terrain of the local area. Our guide was kind, incredibly accommodating, and shared a lot of insights. One recommendation is to wear water shoes when visiting the waterfalls - it's a bit rocky and might be more comfortable.

We had an amazing day with our driver Iwan and tour guide Boko. We learnt a lot of them about rice & coconut production, wildlife and culture. They were both very friendly and so enthusiastic about their work. It was a pleasure spending the day with them.

It was a trip that fully enjoy the culture, industry, and nature of Tetebatu. Our guide, Edi, was very charming and knew a lot about the flowers and trees growing along the way. The people in the village of Tetebatu all knew each other and talked to each other, making it a very peaceful. On the way back we unexpectedly met a local wedding and our driver let to us stay&see it. Very enjoyable day.

Really more of a supervised walk around Tetebatu

This was less of a tour and more of a supervised walk. We saw some interesting parts of Tetebatu, like the rice fields, the coffee making and the coconut oil production. The waterfalls were very pretty and the lunch & monkey forest was nice. However our guide didn't really speak or understand much English at all, so there wasn't any real "guiding" per se. He led us around and gave us some limited info when he could. You could almost have done the tour yourself. For the price we paid, we would have expected a bit more. Our driver was really lovely though and told us some really interesting things about Lombok on the way there and back.

I loved this trip! First, the driver was in the lobby on time and drove us to Tetebatu village. And then we met our tour guide Eddie, whom I would like to appreciate for the great job that he did. He was very helpful and professional. First, we passed through the huge rice fields and then we saw some people who were extracting coconut oil from the coconut plant 🥥. We then passed by the plantations like onions🧅, tomatoes🍅, chili🌶, and some fruits as well. Then we stopped by a small shop that is owned by a nice lady. She plants so many things like chili 🌶, cacao🍫, coffee☕️, cardamom, cinnamon, vanilla and many other things. She has a cozy terrace with some chairs and tables made from bamboo. She gave us some coffee and tea with salted cookies. We talked for a while, then we continued our trip to the waterfall. The road to the waterfall was very challenging, as we didn't bring extra pair of slippers, so it was so hard to step on the stones with barefeet. I recommend wearing sneakers and bringing extra pair of slippers. Thankfully, Eddie gave me his pair of slippers so I can walk easily, but my husband hurt his feet! After the first waterfall, you will find a toilet. It is considerably clean, but I couldn't find soap to wash my hands, so bring your own soap with you. We were then supposed to go to the second waterfall, but we didn't want to do this because we already saw the first one. After that we headed to the rice terrace where you can see a very very beautiful scenery. Take so many photos up there! And lastly, we went to the monkey forest where we looked around to see the black monkeys.

Ein wunderschöner Tagesausflug abseits des Massentourismuses

Ein wunderschöner Ausflug zu einer Dorfgemeinschaft mit ca. 6000 Einwohnern, wo man das Dorfleben kennenlernt und ausgiebig durch Reisterrassen zu zwei Wasserfällen und zum Affenwald wandert. Die Menschen waren sehr freundlich und noch nicht vom Tourismus verdorben. Unsere Reiseleiter Jalal und Omar waren ausgezeichnet und haben uns alle Fragen gerne beantwortet und uns einen sehr schönen Tag bereitet. Unser Fahrer Iwan hat ebenfalls durch seine umsichtige Fahrweise und seine nette Art zum Gelingen des Tages beigetragen.

De rizières en forêt, une journée superbe

Une journée magique au milieu des rizières avec un guide super qui nous a tout expliqué. Des cascades sublimes mais pas trop accessibles pour ceux qui ont ses problèmes d'articulation. Le déjeuner était excellent. La forêt des singes était un moment hors du temps avec des singes noirs. C'était génial.
