Best tour in Madeira

This was the best thing I did while on Madeira. Nuno picked me up on time and was delightful! He shared a ton of knowledge about the history and the native people of Madeira. He was able to show me places that we off the beaten tourist path that were amazingly beautiful and we mostly had the places to ourselves. He was able to accommodate my request to drop me in a different location from my pick up and recommended a great restaurant for lunch.

An unmissible experience! A must do when visiting Madeira. Worth every penny. Our guide Nuno made it complete. His knowledge is second to none. Extremely friendly and very accommodating. We were picked up from our hotel door and offered to drop us back anywhere we wanted when the tour was finished. The motorbike and sidecar experience is something you have to experience and appreciate. Brian & Niamh

Fantastic tour with Nuno!!

The sidecar tour with the amazing Nuno was the highlight of my holiday! Collecting me from the hotel, he asked if there was anything I wanted to see, made some great suggestions to round out the trip - and off we went! On the way to the breathtaking Curral das Freiras we made a few other noteworthy stops, such Cabo Girão, the highest sea cliff in Europe! Whether navigating the narrow congested streets in the city, or the steep, winding roads up in the mountains, with his expert driving I always felt relaxed and in safe hands. As an added bonus, Nuno was incredibly knowledgable about the island, its history and its people. I doubt there is anything he does not know about Madeira! He gave me great suggestions of places to visit during my last two days in the west of the island. He could not have been more accommodating. A wonderful, relaxed tour - and such a memorable part of my trip!

A very enjoyable 3 hours

A very enjoyable 3 hours visiting some of the tourist spots in Madeira without taking the main routes, but winding our way through the local village's led by a very knowledgeable guide. Would definitely do it again if we return to Maderiea.

Fantastic from start to finish. This is a must do. Nuno are driver & guide was very knowledgeable. (never stopped talking). Loved his outlook on life. Picked up exactly on time. Felt very safe. Nuno took loads of photos of the both of us, then you get them emailed to you for free. 1st class all round.

While visiting Madeira, we signed up for a tour of the island. This is the only way to sight see this place. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we saw all the important spots to see in the short time we were there. Our guide gave us a suggestion for having some Tapas and that was a great place, not a tourist spot.

A fantastic introduction to Madeira...

A fantastic introduction to Madeira. Marco arrived early to show us how the helmet intercoms worked and to ask us what we wanted to see. As this was our 1st visit to the island we said we would be guided by him. As we drove around he explained what we were seeing injecting humour as well. His English was very good and easy to understand. During the trip he took many photos of what we were seeing and of us which were later emailed to us, which was an added bonus. He 1st took us onto the harbour wall so we could see an 'overview' of Funchal. Following that we went to the fishing village of Camara de Lobos, then up high for amazing views of the village we had just been to. After the great views of the village we went to the Cabo Girao, 580m above sea level with a glass floor to look down on beautiful sea below. Following more driving around the wonderful area Marco tried to take us for some traditional Poncha but unfortunately it was closed husband was pleased as he doesn't like it! and we went to another amazing view point by the cable car down to Faja dos Padres. We took the 'freeway' back to old town Funchal for our hotel. Once back Marco took time to suggest other areas for us to visit whilst on the island. The trip being out in the fresh air was amazing and I was able to take photos as we drove around. The sidecar was extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this trip.
