This trio was remarkable!!! So fun and yet so professional. They took extra care of my husband who was not feeling up to par. They saw to it he made it through. They made assurances that everyone on the tour was looked after. It was eclipse morning so a lot was going on everywhere! This was the best part of our trip, which was fortunate because of course we came for the eclipse and got lucky choosing All Over Mazatlan for our eclipse moment. So Glad we got to share it with them!! Shout out to Lilo!!!!!!!!!!! For nurturing my husband and for dancing with me on the beach to Redemption Song!!!! ya mon

The tour operator texted us a vague text the day before the tour ( after stating clearly that they would not text and that everything was confirmed). They did not read my response via Viator and they simply did not show up. We were left with no time to book something else and were very disappointed.

Deer Island is beautiful

The view from the top of Deer Island was great. The snorkeling was ok but not the greatest. Snacks provided, lunch would have been better

Kayaking to the Island was fun and the hike to the top was definitely challenging. The water was a little cold during Christmas break but a couple of us braved it.

Absolute waste of time...

Absolute waste of time and money. Useless guide, no hiking offered, snorkeling was pointless as the visibility was almost zero. Don’t do this activity.

We thoroughly enjoyed the kayak /hike/snorkeling trip to Deer Island. Our guides Evelyn and Daniel were fun, personable and informative! We highly recommend this tour, the views from the peak of the island are spectacular!

The tour guide Aurora and Daniel were very nice and knowledgeable, great hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed the kayaking, the hike was unexpected yet pleasant, then we ended with a relaxing snorkel on the beach.

We loved this excursion!!! Kayaking from the beach to deer Island wasn't difficult. The hike up to the peak was filled with butterflies and great views. The snorkeling and beach time was also great. Our tour guide was the best we had through our entire stay in Mazatlán. the only negative is I wish our kayaks were more suited to open water. They didn't coast well. other thab that, everything was great!

Fun tour!

Tour was confirmed the day before. I was picked up on time in the morning. It was just 3 people on the tour. Cesar, our tour guide, spoke English and was very friendly and helpful. One thing the tour company needs to mention on their website -- please remind people to bring sneakers. Cesar took us on a hike up the mountain and I was wearing flip flops. I almost slipped a few times. Anyway, a fun tour and I would recommend.

We had a really good time! The kayaking was super fun, we saw some really cool fish while snorkeling including puffers and what I think were blue tangs, and the view from deer Island was pretty incredible. Haven't gotten our photos yet but I am excited to.

Fabulous Excursion!

Someone in a blue shirt was right there to greet us and take us to 5 lined up and prepared kayaks. Cesar was a fabulous guide - he helped each of us over the waves, and off we went. He shared info about the island and other fun tidbits. I have neck and shoulder issues so he created a way to tow me back to land! It was lovely! The snorkel face masks and fins were great and so easy to use. A perfect snack was provided and plenty of water. It was totally worth it!

Island Expedition

WOW, what an adventure. Didn't realize that we would be kayaking from the beach over to Deer Island so had to adjust our baggage and place in waterproof bags. We had a small group of 4 and my husband and I were in a double kayak (by choice) and once assisted out past the surf, we paddled easily to the island in about 20 minutes (with coordinated paddling ; )(we had long sleeve shirts and life jackets supplied). Once there, we were assisted bringing the kayaks ashore and drank and ate snacks provided, then hiked up the mountain half way (the rest of the hike was a little steep for us so we didn't go to the top) to an overview of the island and got great pictures of both sides (we had brought our cameras/phones, the guide offered pictures but his camera didn't work). We hiked past cactus similar to ours in Arizona along the narrow path, then returned to the beach where we rested, refueled and got our snorkeling equipment and instructions on use and accompanied to an area where we saw a stingray and many beautiful fish. We were then invited to partake in tasting fresh coconut, first drinking the milk then eating the meat with chamoy and tajin (or plain) while having our questions answered by our very informed, funny and personable english speaking guide, Paul. Then we proceeded to return via kayak to Mazatlan with instructions about change in surf and where to head. We arrived safe and sound and Jacob (10yo) got the thrill of flipping his kayak in the surf on arrival (which soaked my non dry bag bag). After assisting us with the kayaks to shore (another guide helped) ,we were driven back to our hotel. All in all, an excellent adventure for sure!!!
