I’m so glad you enjoyed the tour! First, I do want you to say, our website is the primary booking platform. Viator is one of many avenues that sell out tour because of their marketing capabilities that reach millions of people. However, it is very important for guests to know when you find a tour or attraction on Viator, please find that company’s website and book there. Viator is filled with mistakes and inaccuracies like you experienced.
In your case, you booked on our Saturday tour which begins at 2:00pm. When you rescheduled to our Friday tour that begins at 1:30pm, Viator should have sent you the correct information and they did not. That is 100% on them. They usually do provide the correct information 90% of the time but in the 10% of the times that they do not, it can cause major issues like what you experienced.
Your experience will certainly change our communication to guests who book through Viator. We do a ln outstanding job of communicating with our guests who book on our website. We even give a video that explains parking. We will start doing that with our Viator guests as well since they cannot be trusted to communicate the correct information to our guests.
