Our guide Hamood arrived on time and was a wealth of information. It was a very comprehensive excursion for only a 1/2 day tour. The car was clean and air conditioned, he went at our own pace and we enjoyed all of the stops promised and then a few more. It was on of our best excursions ever

First, my guide answered all of my questions before I even began my vacation in a very friendly respectful n timely fashion. My guide arrived on time and handled my experience w care, kindness, and comfort from beginning to end. My guides driving was expedient n safe. He handled my market experience with much skill n knowledge. My guide helped me find everything I needed with a price he understood it was worth. For my solo travelers don’t be afraid to purchase your trips outside of what the resort has. I highly recommend this tour provider!!! The Mosque n the Royal Opera House was absolutely stunning.

Abdullah was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable, super friendly and very accommodating. Highly recommend this tour and Abdullah to get yourself acquainted with the beautiful city of Muscat. We arrived to Oman the day before the tour, extremely tired and wanted an informative and interesting city tour that highlighted the main attractions. Abdullah was punctual and let us take our time at each location for photos and questions. We were not disappointed at all!

The mosque was impressive as was the palace, however we could have bypassed the opera house & beach stop where there was little to see due to work on the stage and perhaps seen other things instead.

We had an exceptional tour with Sunshine Tours Oman. It was very personable and we got to see a lot in the 4 hours. The tour owner's son, Mohammed, was our guide. We were invited to the Salim house for coffee and local treats. The local dates were amazing. I could have eaten many more. As our tour was on Friday, many places were closed, but we were able to see mosques, palaces, Opera House, and other sites. Would highly recommend this tour.

We were a group of 6 who visited Muscat, Oman in November 2023. Our driver/guide (Waleed) was great! He spoke good English, was great at explaining what we were seeing, answered questions candidly, and was passionate about his country & customs. We visited the fish market, the fruits & veggies market, and shopped at the Muttrah Souk. Waleed helped negotiate good prices too! He took us to the Sultan’s palace, the exterior of the mosque & the opera house (both are closed on Fridays), the beach, the parliament. We were pleasantly surprised & in awe of everything Waleed showed us. We also were offered coffee, fruits, sweets & a traditional dish at the beautiful home of the owner of the tour company. Their hospitality was heart warming! That was such a nice surprise! It was a great tour! Another thing we noticed and appreciated was that Waleed never rushed us at any of the stops. We sort of dictated the pace of the tour & he not once tried to get us to move along! Highly recommend Sunshine Tours Oman! If you can request Waleed, you will be in good hands!

We had an excellent tour with Nasr, who drove us in the city of Muscat and explained the history of the mosque, souq, etc. We stopped in different places and local hidden gems to make the most of the visit. It was a pleasure to spend time with Nasr.
