I have wanted to see Mystic Seaport for over 40 years. I was not aware this type of historic place had an “off season”. I was a little disappointed how many buildings were closed. We still had a very good time.

Was amazing, and beautiful, and great attractions. We will definitely be going back. Wished the restaurant was open lingerie and alot of the small town buildings were closed.

Went with a teenager. Had a great time. Went for 2 hours ...could have stayed longer. Loved the live demonstrations (cooking, making tools, etc). People working at the exhibits were great.

I loved the planetarium. I learned all about how important the stars were to navigation. The grounds were wonderful; it reminded me of Greenfield Village in Michigan, only nautical!

I loved seeing the old whaling vessel and learning more about the history of whaling. The music was wonderful and the Newfoundlands walking around were very handsome.

Thoroughly enjoyed touring the Museum yesterday. There is so much history to see there. Love the original houses, schoolhouse, church, drugist and chemist, that were moved from original locations, Touring the ships was amazing. They also had the Riverfest going on. Enjoyed all the bands. Fun day!

Awesome museum, highly recommend. Plan to spend most of the day there. Wasn't crowded at all. Wish they didn't charge extra for some things like the planetarium and boat ride.

Viewing the ship was a wonderful experience. It is hard to imagine traveling during that time period. Seeing the village was also terrific. I loved how the entire village was set up. Being able to see the homes as they were was truly a worthwhile experience. The entire day was something worth seeing. A day well spent.

What a delightful, educational experience! Special shout out to Linda at the Cooperage. Who knew barrels could be so interesting? We highly recommend this fun experience. And it’s all brand new!

The site was lacking and pertinent.Information such as senior citizen discount, and also when the tours would be giving, they were tours set up for 1015 and 1045.We showed up for eleven o'clock and nothing until two thirty that day

My sister and our husbands visited the Mystic Seaport Museum in mid October 2023. The weather was perfect, there were no huge crowds, and the fall foliage enhanced the park and ambiance. The buildings and shops were all interesting, and this living museum had so much more to offer than what we could cover and absorb in an afternoon! The Charles W. Morgan sailing ship was the highlight of our visit, though, I also found the rope-making fascinating and would have loved to spend more time learning about it. The docents were welcoming and informed, and our only disappointment was the lack of time to see all of it. If you (and your family/party) have the time, the historical interest, and the stamina, we recommend spending the entire day there, to get the most out of it.

Some rain in morning but did not cause problem. Interesting museum and many shops depicting life in sailing village. The last wooden whaling ship was interesting. Parking was convenient to entrance.

Nice Seaport with old village

Was interesting to see the old whaling ships and the quarters they lived in for months to years at a time. Vintage Village was interesting as well. Took the ferry type of boat that was an extra charge that cruised a small portion of the river. Was a beautiful sunny day so we didn’t mind it. They had the NYC fire boat that was retired after 9/11
