Vår Delhi-reseguide Manav var bra på att förklara Indiens historia. Han är kunnig om religionsrelaterade ämnen när vi besökte många monument i staden. Jag uppskattar att han tog bra bilder åt mig när vi besökte platserna. Tack Manav.

This whole tour was a slow pitch sale to take you to buy expensive teas and carpets. I was picked up and taken to the mosque. As soon as we arrived the tour guide kid, started talking to me about carpets. “Ohhh have you ever heard of Kashmir Carpets?” I knew where he was going with this. Then he took me to the street of teas. For one hour or so started talking to me about how he knows this place with amazing prices and quality. For this we were just talking at a rooftop with a horrible view and smell, bugs everywhere.
This place he ended up taking me didn't have good prices regardless. It was about $40 USD for a pack of teas. I was not interested either way. We had to get a Tuk Tuk to go to his tea place, and guess what? I had to pay for the ride. The kid has the nerves to tell me I have to tip the Tuk Tuk driver and on top of paying HIM!
Sure it cannot get worse right? Then he tells me I also have to tip the car driver who picked me up from the hotel. Fine. I told him I would tip him and asked him to take me back to the hotel. He told me he was gonna take me to a carpet store before the hotel. I told him 4 times I didn’t want to go and I was not gonna buy anything.
He basically told me that he would get in trouble with his company if he didn’t take me to the carpet shop. I agreed as soon as we walk in there I told the seller “I’m not interested, thank you it looks good” regardless of this, he kept saying oh, you can buy one for your mother or your parents. Guilt tripping me into buying it. Whole experience, extremely uncomfortable. They kept showing me carpets and carpets and I wanted to go back hotel.
But wait there is more, every 20 seconds in the end the kid would say: can I ask you for something? It was either please give me a 5 star review, please send me the pictures of you, please tip the driver, please tip me. Next day he kept bugging me about 5 start reviews after I basically paid for his ride to sell me teas and carpets.

Manav is a friendly and caring tour guide we had in our customize South Dehli day tour itinerary. He did his very best to explain each history and culture on every attraction we requested him to bring us around. From his detailed explanation, it leads us more indulge to this beautiful New Dehli city. We would highly recommend him guiding us to other places outside of Dehli city in future. We had a great time at the end of the day tour. Both Manav our tour guide and our driver Vijay had provided us a very good service.

My tour guide Zayn was incredible. As a female solo traveler I wanted a way to experience as much of Delhi as I could and he didn’t disappoint. So much information and history that allowed me to understand the rich culture of this place. Being able to explore Old Delhi, some of the beautiful ancient structures of this city and religious buildings was something I’ll never forget.
