Vi stannade i Delhi för ett kort "stopp över" och vi ville se Taj Mahal. Jag har ingen tidigare erfarenhet av Indien (men om du gör det kanske råden inte är något för dig). Vår förare dök upp tidigt - bilen var oklanderlig och cool. Resan till Agra tog ca 3 . 5 timmar (med rastplats på vägen). Väl framme vid Agra träffade vi Arham (vår guide för dagen). Arham talade utmärkt engelska och var engagerad från början. Han såg till att vi visste vad vi gjorde och vart vi skulle. Vi anlände vid soluppgången och omedelbart var anledningen till den tidiga starten tydlig - Taj Mahal var relativt tyst och lyste rosa. Det var fängslande. Inga köer, inget tjafs efter en plats. Vi hade tid, utrymme och lugn. Arham har en talang - han är expert på telefonkamerabilder och bilderna han hjälpte oss med och tog var mer än utmärkta. Första tipset - använd inte de dedikerade fotoagenterna. Arham kommer att fråga på vilken nivå du vill att han ska tala. Han kan gå in i intrikata detaljer om Taj Mahal om vi frågar efter mellannivå. Det här var bra för oss. Efter ungefär en halv/tre kvart lämnade Arham oss för att vandra i vår egen. Vi gick in och hade en halvtimme på oss att utforska. Det här var fantastiskt igen. Vi träffade honom igen vid en bestämd punkt och sedan (efter ca 2 timmar) gick vi. Mat och en resa till lokala handlare erbjöds men vi tackade nej. Vi gick dock till Agra Fort och baby Taj Mahal som var fantastiska och fridfulla. Vi släppte sedan tillbaka Arham till kontoret och återvände till Delhi. Resan var perfekt för oss. Ord av varning och min rekommendation för en guide. När du närmar dig Taj Mahal har du gatuförsäljare och ett urval av slumpmässiga karaktärer som väntar på dig. Jag förstår det här. Du är en turist och besöker deras hem. Vad jag inte förväntade mig var att min partner (kvinna) skulle vara ganska så målinriktad. I baby Taj ombads hon att bli fotograferad av skolbarn (inte ett problem och av respekt var det bra) men vid vägkanten konfronterades vi av 5-8 påstådda "miljödemonstranter" som ville att hon skulle kommentera filmen. Det fanns en uppenbar alternativ agenda för detta. Arham konfronterade dem. Hanterade dem och även om de inte var lätta att lugna körde vår förare igenom dem utan ytterligare incidenter. Jag måste tacka Arham för detta. Det var över vad jag hade förväntat mig. Han såg till att vi inte blev utsatta för deras agenda. Detta skulle inte avskräcka mig från att återvända. Det var en isolerad händelse och var lätt att hantera. Ingen skada skedde. Jag tror att det är något att tänka på. Det är anledningen till att när jag kommer tillbaka kommer jag att göra med en guide. Jag har Arkhams nummer som jag kommer att ge vidare till släktingar som kommer till Delhi.

Denna turné var fantastisk. Både föraren Sikandar och reseguiden Faizel var så snälla och vänliga mot mig hela dagen. Jag var orolig för att resa solo mitt i natten för att göra soluppgångens Taj Mahal-tur, men kommunikationen var tydlig och sömlös, det fanns ingen anledning att oroa sig. Turnén var fantastisk. Faizel tog bilder av mig på fantastiska platser som jag inte skulle ha tänkt på och han tog mig till ställen för att köpa souvenirer som också var ganska coola. Jag rekommenderar starkt turnén för alla, och det var säkert för en kvinnlig ensamresenär.

Owais är en bra guide som visade oss Taj och det röda fortet men Itimads grav - ud - Daulah inkluderades inte som annonserats. Vi insåg inte detta då, men undrade varför vi kom tillbaka till Delhi ett par timmar tidigare än vad som annonserades. Vi blev inte informerade om att vi skulle missa 1 av inkluderingarna och insåg det först när vi kom hem. Också att notera, se upp för toaletten i deras huvudkontor. Det var i mycket orent tillstånd utan TP, ingen tvål, inga pappershanddukar. Det fanns inget vatten i bilen vid hämtning. Den dök upp först efter ankomsten till Agra.

Välorganiserad resa till Taj Mahal

Vår chaufför hämtade oss från vårt hotell i Delhi innan vi gav oss av på en bekväm resa till Agra där vi fick sällskap av vår reseguide Sadiq. Hela resan var mycket välorganiserad med gott om vatten och toalettmöjligheter. Sadiq var mycket vänlig och kunnig och kände till alla fantastiska fotoställen vid Taj Mahal. Vi njöt också av en härlig lokal restaurang till frukost och såg fortet och "Baby Taj" innan vi gjorde resan tillbaka till Delhi. Sadiq gjorde det verkligen till en trevlig och oförglömlig upplevelse.

Vi gillade att organisera turnén. Chauffören var punktlig och körde oss säkert till Agra. Owais väntade nära Taj Mahal och tillbringade några informativa två till tre timmar på platsen. Han informerade mycket bra och kunde svara på alla våra frågor. Förutom det är han också en så bra fotograf. Efter att ha ätit en god lunch tog vår chaufför lika säkert tillbaka till Delhi. Rekommenderar gärna denna turné och reseguide till alla.

Hade huvudet om detta fantastiska monument men besöket gjorde det ännu mer minnesvärt med Mr Imtiyaz som var vår guide. Han var så ödmjuk från början direkt från vår hämtning från hotellet tills vi släpptes tillbaka. De fick oss att känna oss så bekväma. Jag skulle definitivt rekommendera dem för samma sak.

Soluppgång @ Taj Mahal

Älskade denna turné. Chotu, vår förare och Ankur, vår guide var underbara. Som två kvinnliga resenärer kände vi oss trygga med båda. Ankur är mycket kunnig (och en utmärkt fotograf) och vi njöt av historien bakom Taj Mahal och Baby Taj. Vi togs till en trevlig restaurang, mer riktad till turister, men maten var utmärkt och utrymmet rent. Chotu slutade när vi behövde ett badrum och valde utmärkta ställen för morgonte och eftermiddagskaffe och dietcola. Sidanteckning - anlita inte de "professionella" fotograferna på Taj Mahal. De är amatörer jämfört med Ankur. Ge honom de extra tipsen bara :)

Vår förare var i tid, vänlig, gav vatten och stannade för te på vägen. Vägen ner till Agra gick ganska fort. När vi väl kom fram träffade vi vår guide Amaan. Han var mycket kunnig om webbplatserna och talade bra/tydlig engelska. Han stannade hos oss för att vägleda oss hela tiden men lämnade oss ändå tillräckligt ensamma för att göra våra egna saker då och då. Jag har varit i Agra tidigare med en guide men det här var min mans första gång. Det här var en bättre rundtur som jag har tagit eftersom du inte kommer att blandas runt till alla turistiska hantverksbutiker eller pressas att köpa något efteråt. De lämnade verkligen upp till oss om vi ville stanna för att äta eller inte. Vi valde att fortsätta från Taj Mahal direkt till Röda fortet och det var ett bra val eftersom vi slog de flesta av publiken där. Om du ska göra detta, se till att packa lite snacks. Föraren stannar kvar med fordonet så du är fri att lämna ovärdiga tillhörigheter i bilen. Amaan fick några riktigt bra bilder till oss också. Rekommenderas starkt.

I had the best experience you could possibly think of from beginning to end. It was super easy to book it on line. Straight away I was contacted via WhatsApp and asked to confirm few things like where I stayed and what time I would be picked up. I was send the name of driver from the private taxi. The taxi driver came ahead of time to make sure he was on time. I was alerted when he arrived. I was picked up and driver was very nice and polite, brought cold waters for the journey etc. I had a very pleasant drive there and back. Once we went to Agra we picked up Vishal Garg (the guide) and he was just a lovely gentleman, very well spoken, very professional and super knowledgeable. He was very attentive through out the whole process I had one the best experience with this company and I would 100% receive to anyone to use them. P.S. it is very very good value for money for what you actually get. A private air conditioned taxi drive over three hours there and back as well as a private amazing Guide for the whole morning. Incredible. Thank you.

Great tour to see Taj Mahal early morning, Amit our guide was lovely and very informative. All staff during booking was very helpful and kind. The only thing I will add is we had 3 stops for shopping after and this time could have been used to spend more time in the Taj Mahal itself, so would be nice to have the option. Very much recommend this tour and wouldn't hesitate to book it a second time.

Kamran, our guide, was knowledgeable and informative. Sharmaji, our driver, was punctual. The reason for 4 stars is because there was a hiccup where we had to wait a long time in line for a technical ticket issue to be sorted - which meant we would miss the sunrise part of the sunrise tour!! But then Kamran, our guide, made up for it as best as he could with his knowledge and photography skills! The management said they would look into a partial refund for that hiccup but then never got back to us! That is why we docked that star from a customer service perspective.

Fantastic tour! Sadiq was a wonderfully kind and detailed guide. He really made it special for my colleague and I. I also loved how dedicated he was to making sure we had great photos! It was like a photo shoot! I would recommend trying to book tickets a few days ahead of time. The website was down the day before and day of our trip, so it was madness. Sadiq handled it like a pro, and it didn’t slow us down. Also highly recommend bringing/wearing bug spray and sunscreen!

Excellent Day Trip to Taj Mahal from New Delhi

Excellent day trip and tour from Delhi to the Taj Mahal. Jitender (driver) picked us up right on time at 2:30am so that we arrive just before sunrise and safely drive us to and from Taj Mahal. Kaif (tour guide) was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and passionate tour guide of the Taj Mahal, very friendly, explaining all aspects along the tour. Great tour to visit Taj Mahal from New Delhi in 1 day (back at c. 3pm) and highly recommend.

Unforgettable Tour

[28/Female/American] Our tour guide Sadiq was extremely knowledgeable about Agra and the Taj Mahal. An amateur photographer, he took a lot of time to capture creative and fun photos of me and my friend which we will cherish for a long time. It was our first time to the Taj Mahal and his in-depth knowledge of the history made it unforgettable. After, our great driver Dushyant drove us by the military fort and our guide brought us to Baby Taj, which we loved. We had a great Indian lunch and went to fine craftsmen stores afterward to see handmade inlayed marble, jewelry, and embroidery. The tour operator was responsive, informative and friendly. We were back at the hotel in Delhi after about 14 hours. I would recommend this tour to travelers.
