Well, the specifics you're mentioning are all things one would experience on ANY haunted tour.
- We offer a 5pm slot where a lot of other tours are never out, but if you choose 8pm on a Friday night, there can be a lot of distractions and other tours in the French Quarter.
- All tour groups must maintain a legal 50 feet of distance from other tours, so occasionally there are sometimes a couple locations out of many where you can only walk by, look at it briefly, and then stand at a greater distance for more of the story. One is free to take photos of the locations anywhere, but where we tell the stories is required to be at a distance from other groups.
These aspects are mandated by law. We're sorry if you didn't enjoy Evan's performance, and I know these distractions can create an environment where things don't start off in a good place. But I think it's good clarification, I wouldn't want guests to come thinking we're going to be so entertained that they transcend the wild chaos (heat/cold/rains/parades etc) in the French Quarter and forget it exists. Not saying you had that expectation, just wanted to clarify all this for future guests reading your review.
