Highly recommend the tour with Diana!

We really enjoyed the tour. Diana was most helpful, both with the logistics before the tour as well as on the tour. She was friendly and knowledgeable, and kept adults and kids engaged throughout. Highly recommend touring with her.

Great tour from a local guide

Diana is a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. It was nice to learn about the area from a local. She greeted us at the station and gave us tips about navigating the area and insights into local culture and traditions while walking to the village. Diana’s understanding of the area and the history surrounding it was very extensive. We would definitely take another tour with her. Thanks!

Diane was a fabulous guide. She’s very knowledgeable, personable and helpful in many ways. This is a walking tour and you meet her at a location and she takes you through all the sites. It is well worth traveling to meet her and have her take you to the different sites.

Diana was waiting for us at the station when we arrived. It was great to start early to avoid the crowds. The area is amazing. The tour itself is very interesting and very informative. Diana is a great guide and made us feel like old friends. Highly recommended!

Diana was a great tour guide! It was a two hour tour and we were able to see all that Zaanse Schans has to offer. She was able to set up demonstrations for the cheese factory and clog making. I would highly recommend this to everyone visiting Amsterdam!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! This tour SAVED our day! My husband and I took an overnight train that was delayed 2 hours. We were tired and very frustrated. I messaged Diana to let her know we wouldn't be able to make it, and she happened to have time that afternoon to take us on the tour when we finally arrived 3 hours later! She was so so accommodating, we could not thank her enough! Then the tour itself was just wonderful! Really eased our frustrations from the train delays and we had an amazing time. She walks right in and gets you into little demonstrations (clogs and cheese) just because she's a well-known guide. She knows all the best stops for snacks and must-see spots! Thank you so so much Diana!

I had a great time, and Diana was a great guide. However, beware that you have to get to the train station at Zaanse Schans yourself. It is not too difficult but it costs 8 euro round trip from the central rail station. Also, the tour does not cover 5 euro entrance fee to go inside the windmills. It might be easier to book a tour that includes bus ride to Zaanse Schans, but then you would not get Diana as your guide

Thank you for the review of your private VIP tour. Other meeting points are also possible, for example Amsterdam Central Station (different price) and at the Julianabridge, depending on the wishes of my guests. I especially describe at my experience that entrance fees for the windmills are not included. We had a great time, Jerry! Stay safe!

Tour guidato in modo eccezionale da Diana, gentilissima e preparatissima. Una vera guida e davvero local. Mio figlio ed io ci siamo goduti la visita e avuto tante informazioni sulla storia e le usanze del luogo. Lo consiglio a tutti coloro che di passaggio per Amsterdam vogliano vedere i tradizionali mulini a vento olandesi e capire meglio l'invenzione e la tradizione.
