Appreciate your feedback and Clara. Thanks so much for the 10 out of 10 in regards to our crocodile feeding and snake show. Always happy to take constructive and other feedback on board. One thing I'd like to point out, is it is always helpful if you are going to make comment, to take the time to speak to people at a venue first. Anyway such as it is, Queensland as with other States in Australia have specifications for the welfare of captive wildlife. Indeed wild birds have a range which in most cases I'll point out is often impacted by farming and urban development, dogs, cars and many other challenges, so the 'wild' is not the Utopia for wildlife it once was. Nonetheless the Emus were all raised in captivity, they are not wild birds taken into captivity. Their enclosure is excellent and most certainly exceeds the requirements which are in the standards for such enclosure, which you may not be aware of. For your information, I volunteered to take them in when the Zoo they were at closed down. They've lived a happy and healthy life with us every since. As regards the cassowaries, likewise the enclosures are certainly greater than the standards again. Each bird has a story and if you'd care to actually communicate with us, will happily share that information. Our team work extremely hard in our restaurant to provide a high standard of food quality and service. Yes, just like anywhere when it is busy it will take time to get served and for your meal to be cooked. Interestingly in the last several months, I've been visiting several cities and venues in Australia and I feel our team to a wonderful job. This (the fact that there is not a cast of thousands to wait, serve and cook for Australians) is something which everyone is going to have to adjust to as the tens of thousands of international hospitality workers who called Australia home for work or study will take time to return. Locally, one of the direct consequences of so many moving to North Queensland and paying inflated prices for property, is taking up a huge portion of the properties, previously available for rent. That's simply a fact which we have no control over and by all means, eat elsewhere if you prefer we have some lovely places in Trinity, Palm Cove, Ellis Beach and Port Douglas. This is why we give our visitors the return pass.
