The customer demanded a 100% refund after all services were done. Obviously he enjoyed this trip, I was really scared looking at happy faces of his family on the photos made for the customer by Rustam upon his request. So this review is not about this trip. It is about money and customer's failed attempt to make the trip free of charge. Our Rustam gets almost 5 stars reviews. Very good reviews. This is his first and hopefully the last 1 star (terrible) review. He is upset. The whole 14 hours program was made according to the Ticket/Itinerary. A lot to see, a lot to do, No rush. All distances, times spent while driving and at each spot have got a step by step description visible on Viator's web. So before going there everybody can estimate what to expect. The average feed back from our customers is more or less like "Long Day - Great Impressions". In fact this trip had the following time line.
11:00 -11:20 Arrival and Visit of the American Cemetery in Collville-sur-Mer
12:20 Visit of the Overlord Museum. It was not in the Itinerary but our drivers-guides are instructed if there is enough time to include this visit they should do it without any surcharge because it gives travellers a personal involving into the D-Day history. Highly recommended. Visit of the Omaha Beach Memorial afterwards.
15:15 Arrival in Mont Saint-Michel. We booked the Entrance tickets for Mont Saint-Michel including the Guided tour by the local Abbey's Guide for 16:03 (04:03 pm). Tickets can be not attached here but we have sent them to the Viator Customer Care so they can see that an English Guided tour in Abbey was booked. The shuttle bus queue at the main parking was too long. So the client has decided to walk. It took 35 minutes. But the client has decided instead of visiting of the Abbey according to our program to go to a restaurant where he/they spent time till 17:10. Our staff is instructed that by Private Experiences the client can change the timing and spend more or less time at each sight due to his/her interests. Our driver-guide brought the clients afterwards to Mont Saint-Michel Abbey and went with them inside. So the client had the opportunity to join the English Guided tour in Abbey and missed it according to his own decision.
19:20 Back ride to Paris was started 1 hour 20 minutes later than scheduled. The client was very generous and gave EUR 30 as tipping to Rustam.
The only real problem was that we were 30 minutes late for the Pick up in the morning because the customer has changed one day before departure his address messaging us but not having amended the Ticket itself (we can not do it at our end). That's why our driver-guide Rustam came to the original address in the Ticket. As we saw our fault we have picked up the clients from their AirBNB address. The Pick up service was refunded of course.
