The whole trip was fantastic from getting on the boat with a bike I’d hired, out across the water to the island. All the different places I visited … some by bike, others via the hop-on-hop-off bus. Everything was just spectacular, and the weather was just perfect.

The island was so beautiful and we enjoyed the hop on hop off bus service. It was as fun seeing the quokka’s. I can’t believe how tame they are.

Self guided tour. But everything went smoothly from Terrie picking us up in plenty of time for ferry from our hotel, to ferry times and crossing and back again. Wish I would have checked in to staying in the island as 5 hours wasn’t long enough to soak in the beauty of the island. Loved it and definitely hire a bike or take the hop on off bus to see more than the settlement.

Beautiful beaches and snorkelling. Great restaurants and scenery. Accomodation was lacking in comfort and felt slapdash. The quakes are adorable.

A stunning day Mid-August, not too hot and not too cold. Booked the hop on/ hop off bus intending to go right around the island first and pick places to go next. Decided to get off at the inland Lighthouse and walked up the easy grade. Olga the guide in the lighthouse was very informative and took us to the top, explaining all the way. Stunning pictures taken. We returned to the bus stop and continued our journey back to the settlement. Had lunch and wondered around the shops, sculptures, waterfront and jetty. Returned at 4.30pm to the ferry, nice and easy pace.

Rottnest is absolutely beautiful. The hop on hop off bus was great. Would have been good to have an alternative time to return to the mainland.

The boat trip was lovely, enjoyed looking around the island. So many people loving the Quokka, beautiful animals. Enjoyed the bus trip where we could stop at different stops.

No fuss. Quick and easy to board. Took a little longer to get off but that is completely understandable as the ferry was at capacity. Great experience. Rottness Island was fantastic.

The ferry trip was fun, and sailed on time. It was a lovely day out, it was sunny but not too hot, and a very pleasant day out.

The occasion was my sons 25th birthday which coincided with the freo to Rottnest swim, the island was packed with festivities and people. The weather was beautiful and the water was even more so, for so many people packed on the beach with hundreds of boats and vessels moored along the island the crowds were amazingly well behaved. 2nd year in a row, I’d definitely do it again.

Getting there quickly and smoothly. The hop on hop off bus was the way to get around the island. Biking was too hard in the hot weather.
