Eerie locations at night.

Lovely spooky history lesson!

My pre-teen and I last minute booked this on a cold Monday night in Philly while traveling. It was so intriguing and very worth all the spooky and important history!!! Laura was our guide and did an amazing job at all the detail and storytelling. :) Highly recommend this if you want to learn about some very cool history with some spooky twists!!!!

Perfect balance between spooky and historical. Our guide was extremely informative about the historical background of every location and share experiences of haunting. It was never cheesy but helped us appreciate the history of Philadelphia even further!

This was a really fun tour, a mix of history and ghosts. Ironically, our tour guide was British but was very knowledgeable of early American history and the people “haunting” the sites we toured.

Tour guide didn’t show up. Tour company doesn’t work at time of schedule tour either

The tour guide never showed up. I showed up 30 minutes early to make sure I would find the location and I’ve myself enough time in case I got lost. Waited around until 8:30 pm. Tried calling tour provider but their number from website went straight to waiting room music and never changed. Contacted viator but they didn’t contact me back until 9:50pm. Trying to get refund but at current time it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. Contacted tour company today their phone is working now. But they said that I was the only person that wasn’t able to participate in tour. Completely BS. Nobody was in Washington square but me and people walking their pets.

Not so great!

Waste of money!! We ended up leaving the first 5-10 minutes of tour! Group was way too large and could not hear the tour guide. Would not recommend this tour unless they had earpieces so everyone could hear tour guide.

Decent tour, double check start time though

Overall this tour was good, the stories they told we fun and slightly creepy. My biggest issues was that Viator told us the tour started at 8pm and to be there 10-15 minutes ahead of time to check in, so we showed up at 7:40 and the tour had clearly already started. I asked someone what time he started the tour, she said like 7:05, so we missed a good half hour. Was pretty disappointed in that. Double check time here compared to their website I guess.

One heck of a Spooky good time!

This was a fun and engaging tour. I believe our guide's name was Lauren (sry its been a few days), but she was really a good story teller. She had to be to keep our group going.. it had been raining all day and was almost chill to the bone with heavy winds at 9pm EST, but her passion and excitement for the history and spooky ghost stories made the experience so worth it. Highly recommend checking the tour out if you're in for a spooky good time!

This is a historic tour not a ghost tour. If you want to learn about past politics of Philly great. If you want to hear if their spirits and eerie takes if encounters with ghosts and haunted places, take a different tour - this is NOT that.
