Otrolig upplevelse! På nära håll med elefanter matade vi dem, klappade dem och badade dem. Vi uppskattar hur väl de blir bemötta och omhändertagna. Professionell och kunnig personal, vi kände oss trygga. Vi har också haft vår matlagningslektion. Den gröna papayasalladen var rolig att göra och utsökt!

Vi kan inte säga tillräckligt om denna utflykt! Gör det! Guide Mr. Yu var fantastisk. passionerad, kunnig och rolig! Detta var en sann ögonblicksbild av livet för elefanträddning och thailändska elefanthållning i generationer. De hedrar dessa djur och de är mycket välskötta. Vi gick som en ung vuxen familj på 5 och kom förberedda enligt anvisningarna med ombyteskläder, baddräkt, handdukspromenadskor och stort repellent. Vi deltog i lunchförberedelserna och serverades en fantastisk lunchbuffé med flera rätter. Promenaderna var ganska jämna och inte omfattande. Elefanterna är fogliga, godmodiga och roliga; vi kände oss trygga hela tiden. Att "bada" elefanterna i ett grunt lerdammsområde är valfritt; min familj gick in och jag valde att stanna vid vattenkanten och filma lol De har en fotograf som tog över 100 bilder och kommer att skicka till mitt Instagram-konto vilket är bra! Rekommenderar verkligen!

Denna helgedom var fantastisk att besöka. Reseledaren brinner mycket för att rädda elefanter och ge elefanterna den bästa möjligheten att leva ett fridfullt liv och så nära sin naturliga livsmiljö som möjligt. Han delade med sig av sin vision om att bygga helgedomen och hur den kom till liv. Han var mycket tålmodig med oss och gav oss lektioner i att mata, gå och bada elefanterna. Fristaden var fantastisk. Hela teamet var kunnigt och vänligt. Varje elefant har en vårdare som bor på fastigheten. Elefanterna får gå fritt och är friska. De är så vackra varelser och vi rekommenderar denna turné till alla. Stöd organisationer som tar hand om djuren, inte kedja dem eller placera dem i små burar för utställning.

Helt fenomenal upplevelse! Att mata elefanterna, se dem ströva fritt och sedan gå i vattnet med dem för att ge dessa milda jättar ett bad kan göra dig mållös. Vi kunde inte ha bett om bättre guider än Dan och Alex, de vi snälla, kunniga och de perfekta värdarna. Resan avslutades med en underbar autentisk thailändsk lunch.
