Tulum och simning med sköldpaddor

Pyramidområdet i Tulum var väldigt vackert, beläget med utsikt över havet. Guiden som visade oss runt var kunnig och inspirerande. Färden gick sedan vidare till Akumal och simning med sköldpaddor vilket var en häftig upplevelse. Därefter serverades en god lunch tillagad av lokala personer. Vidare gick färden till en cenoe för bad och simning i grottsystemet. Dagens guide och chaufför var väldigt duktiga och serviceminded på sina områden. Vi hade en trevlig men utmattande dag.

We had a fantastic time on the tour! The ruins were beautiful, but the weather can be intense, so remember to wear plenty of sunscreen and stay hydrated. The cenote was unexpectedly fun and adventurous—knowing how to swim is a must. Seeing the turtles was amazing, and it really made us appreciate Mother Nature. Finally, our tour guide, Pablo, was incredibly helpful and friendly. Don't forget to tip him well!

Oscar and Manuel with Vacation Tours were awesome. The pick up and drop off were very convenient! Oscar was very enthusiastic and informative at the cenote and at lunch. Our guide at the ruins was amazing too! The sea turtles was fun. It seemed like just the right amount of time for each activity.

Highly recommend this company for a tour guide of a wonderful and informative excursion. I absolutely dread tour guides as they can be long and have alternative motives for stopping at a ton of markets. That wasn’t the case here. We started at the ruins and had a very knowledgeable guide that gave good information in English, Spanish, and French. After the our, we were able to explore the ruins for about 30 minutes on our own. We then headed to the cenote - which was my favorite part. Life jackets were required but it is because you swim into a completely dark cave with bats, staglimytes, and other natural rock. Don’t worry - the guide has a flash light and is very knowledgeable on its formation and history. Next, was lunch. We had the chicken quesadillas and horchatas. Finally, we ended with the turtle swimming. It was very crowded but overall a good experience. I will definitely be using this company in the future.

Amazing Must Do Trip!

Our trip was fantastic fro start to finish! Our guide was Ivan and in addition to being a smiling ray of positivity, Ivan was funny and very knowledgeable and passionate about his job. Tulum was wonderful and our guide Juan gave us lots of interesting facts, we had plenty of free time too for photo opportunities. The Cenote cavern swim was refreshing and thankfully not too cold! Ivan was our guide here and again was full of information, my husband is a little claustrophobic but he'd no issue with this activity. Lunch was quick & tasty and swimming with the turtles in the Carribbean Sea was the perfect end to this perfect day! Highly recommend this excursion - 3 Must Do activities in one day and excellent value. Thanks again to NS Vacations Tours ( lovely small group ) and Ivan ( Amazing Guide ) and Lucho, our driver for keeping us safe on the busy roads and for taking care of our things while we were living our best life! Book through Viator for the first time and found their App really efficient and simple to use, plus got a bonus 10% off for signing up!

Fantastic Guided Experience!!

I can’t say enough good things about this tour— we had an amazing time! Our guide, Enrike (with a K), was fantastic!! We ensured we had a wonderful time at each stop on our excursion. Our group wasn’t overly large, so there was an intimate feel where any and all questions were answered thoroughly. He helped to make everything so comfortable and fun! We had a bilingual group, but for us non-Spanish speakers, we were always included in translations and never treated as an afterthought, which we greatly appreciated. Our driver, Emmanuel, was very timely and efficient; he even swam in the cenote with us! There was a delay in our hotel pick-up due to traffic, but it was communicated to us so we knew what was going on. The Mayan temple ruins in Tulum were exciting, though it was extremely hot. Be sure to bring water in a metal container since you can’t have any in a plastic bottle. The cenote was breathtaking and a must-see! The water was refreshing and the swim was cool. They provide life jackets for you on-site. Our guide was enthusiastic about the cenote. I would recommend taking the tour suggestions to heart, as our use of rash guards and wearing our swimsuits under our dry clothes greatly enhanced our experience overall. Our favorite part of this tour was the snorkeling with sea turtles. The “House of Turtles” is no joke— we saw 6 or 7 of them. It is an absolute must do, if nothing else. The provide life jackets and the snorkel on-site. Our turtle guides, Rueben and Israel, were super accommodating and paid close attention to each of us to ensure we got to see a turtle. They even shared with us pictures that they took of our group with the sea turtles! Overall, this tour was incredible and definitely something we will always remember and recommend to anyone visiting the area! And remember to tip your guides for all their hard work! :)

Excellent day, best day in our Mexican trip so far!!!! Would 100% recommend. Huge thank you to Enrike (with a K!!! :D) and Frank. They were amazing, checking on us all the time. The highlight of the day was the swim with Enrike in the Cenotes, I was so scared but he was very thoughtful and made me feel comfortable.

Ivan was a great tour guide, friendly and gave us plenty of information. Tulum ruins were beautiful however it was so hot walking up the hills and stairs so it probably would've been better to do this at the end of the day when it was cooler. Also, you aren't allowed plastic bottles so unable to take water with us in. Swimming with turtles was unreal saw about five and a sting ray, only issue was my partner had a beard and we weren't informed that water would get into the mask if you had a beard. Food was good we had chicken fajitas and burger and wedges. Swimming in the cenotes was unreal we saw lots of bats. Drinks were provided throughout the day. The driver was prompt and helpful. Overall a great day!

The #1 thing I would recommend to someone visiting the area

We had an amazing time with our family of four! We were picked up in Playa del Carmen and it did take a while to get going. We were taken to a small market to pay the necessary fees, we picked up several other tour members and arrived at Tulum, which was crowded and touristy, but very interesting. Our guide, Enrike, spoke excellent English, gave clear instructions at each activity and guided a wonderful cenote tour. Next was a late lunch, which was simple, but good. Then snorkeling with turtles, reef fish, squid and starfish. Everyone in our group had a wonderful time! There are so many tour options available but I was so happy we picked this one, which I believe is from a smaller, local company than some others. The tour felt well organized and the time allotted for each activity was perfect.

Juan is an awesome guide! He was kind, attentive, funny and easy to get along with. He always made sure everyone in the group was cared for. He lent me his go pro to video turtles, when I forgot mine. He drug a couple around on a life preserver through the cenote so they would feel more comfortable in the water. He did so many things above and beyond what I was expecting!

Our experience was professional from the onset. The local tour company was quick to answer questions and provide pickup time. Pickup at hotel was easy. Oscar was a warm host and very knowledgeable guide. Swimming with the Turtles was the expected highlight, but my favorite highlight actually was the swim in the Cenote. I learned a lot about Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula’s underwater river and the resulting Cenote ecosystem. Thank you for a wonderful day.

This tour was fantastic, Oscar was extremely informative, friendly, and clear with our mixed language group. Ruben at Akumal Bay treated us to an unforgettable turtle snorkeling experience in the rain, which was unique and thrilling. The operator also quickly assisted me with returning an item I left behind on the van. Highly recommend!
