Den första vingården var den mest intressanta och underhållande. Vår guide var mycket vänlig, gav fantastiska insikter i vinframställning, portvin, honung, etc och allt med mycket god humor. Vi åt en härlig lunch på ett gammalt, karaktärsfullt pensionat. Båtturen var kortare än väntat men den unga kvinnan som ledde turnén var underhållande och informativ. Jag skulle starkt rekommendera.

Landskap, landskap, landskap! Detta var en fantastisk turné med utsökt port, vin och mat! Vår guide Sergio var kunnig, vänlig, rolig och personlig! Och han plockade några apelsiner åt oss! Vi träffade några underbara människor på vägen. Douro flodkryssning var härlig! Vi gjorde den här turnén i mars och normalt kunde vi vara upp till 12 personer i gruppen, men det var bara vi två och Sergio. Och det var väldigt speciellt och fantastiskt! Rekommenderas starkt.

Mycket dåligt väder för vår Douro-resa men förringade egentligen inte mycket förutom våra bilder av den spektakulära Dourodalen och kryssningen. Kryssningen i sig skulle vara bättre i bra väder men det är en ganska standardkryssning upp och ner för floden utan några krusiduller. Vinprovningarna var på ett par mindre boutiquevingårdar och riktiga höjdpunkter. Massor av alternativ och väl presenterade av de lokala guiderna. Lunchen var enkel men mycket välsmakande och en plats som skulle ha varit mer spektakulär i bra väder men vin var det gott om. Det finns en hel del körning men värt det för att uppskatta landskapet. Vår guide och förare Americo var utmärkt och kunnig med bra engelska och tog hand om oss väl.

Denna turné var fantastisk och inkapslade perfekt allt jag ville uppleva på en vintur. Turnén inkluderade två vackra vingårdar, båda med mångsidig och rik vinhistoria, samt lunch från en lokal restaurang. Allt om denna upplevelse var fantastiskt. Servicen var exemplarisk. Guiden, Marcel (hoppas jag stavade det rätt) var underhållande och informativ. Vi besökte fem platser, ett litet stadskafé, två vingårdar, ett hotell/restaurang för lunch och en flodkryssning. Var och en var en spektakulär upplevelse och vyerna var absolut vackra. De andra gästerna var så roliga att dela resan med. Detta var en mycket minnesvärd upplevelse av vår semester till Portugal. Dourodalen är otroligt vacker och väldigt annorlunda från de mer urbana områden som vi besökte. Vår reseguide, Joaquim var fantastisk. Han kommunicerade före resan för att låta oss veta när han skulle vara på vår AirBNB. När vi körde till dalen gav han information om vart vi skulle, vad vi skulle se och svarade på alla frågor. Turerna var fantastiska. Vi besökte tre olika vingårdar av varierande storlek och hörde massor av historier om regionen och porten och vinerna vi provade. Båtturen gav ännu fler vyer och lunchen var utsökt. Det här är en fantastisk sak att göra när du är i Portugal.
