I loved this trip. It was a wonderful combination of riding and seeing the rural village and countryside. The hot springs were 5 hot pools in shaded lush trees. Good for the muscles but too hot to linger for long on a hot summer day. Bring water as they did not offer any drink or food as the advertisement promised. Despite this I felt it was good value for the trip.

We had an amazing time. The springs were lovely but i loved the horseback riding. Our guide spoke perfect english which helped, but he was also very flexible with timings as we needed to finish slightly earlier so he changed the duration of elements. During the ride he also spoke about his life, how they trained the horses and how they all had different personalities. And he pointed other things out along the route. Initially i was worried that it would be too hot, but parts of the trail is under tree cover or shade, and i never felt too hot.

A+, highly recommend, phenomenal experience. Bring some water and a snack. Even if you've never ridden a horse before you'll be safe and enjoy it. Willy is a great guide.

Perfect proper tour in real Mexico

Absolutely incredible experience. Best yet since we've been here! Willy was a great host and picked us up on time. Jamie was a wonderful cowboy and the horses were lonely. Calm and trustworthy. Crossed the river many times. Pools and river are beautiful and relaxing. Homemade mole from Alejandrina afterwards was absolutely perfect. My partner said it was the best meal we've had since being in Mexico. An absolute must and a perfect day. Muchísima gracias por todo

This is an absolute must advebture if you are in the area of Puerto Escondido. The guids, horses, sights, sounds and soak in the incredible hot springs was worth every moment. I would have done the whole experience again the moment it was over. Please do it and enjoy :)

LOVED IT! Its my second time horseback riding and I felt completely comfortable and in sync with the horse. The view....breathtaking. The Hot Springs... hot and some warm (cautious if you have a sunburn). It was a lovely experience. My only recommendation is to wear bug spray under your fully covered body (leggings and a breathable long sleeve). Take a hat and of course a bathing suit to enjoy the hot springs.

This tour was excellent! Our driver was very personable and had impeccable taste I'm music! When we got to the house for the ride we were greater with some bread and coffee to give us the fuel we needed for the ride. I will say I had a fear but respect for horses. I know they can have a mk d of their own but my horse Tequila was very gentle and mindful of my directions. But most if the time I let the horse lead the way. We had three guides for the ride, the owner of the horses and two playful dogs. They were all mindful making sure no one was left behind and the horses behaved. The ride was pretty smooth. There were a couple very rocky areas but the horses knew what they were doing. When we got to the hot springs and river it was empty. There were only three of us on the tour and it felt like I had the place to myself. The river was luke warm and nothing like I'm used to in the northern rivers of the US. The area was very clean as well with no garbage. They take pride in the area and it shows. It was all very peaceful and exactly what I needed. If you are experienced or never rode I would say the experience is worth it. I would for sure do the tour again next time I am here.

we loved it! the horses were tame & our guide willy was great. such a special experience! make sure you wear pants & bring lots of water. note that you can actually contact the tour operator if you want to start at a later time — we decided to get picked up from our hotel at 10 am.

Stunning horse ride and tranquil hot springs

This is an incredible experience from the village you set out from to the stunning horse ride that crosses multiple rivers and of course, the hot springs. We had Willy’s dad as our guide and he was so kind and the horses knew the way and were really calm! This is a comfortable experience even for the inexperienced rider. The baths are shaded and pristine and honestly so beautiful. We swam for almost an hour and a half in them!! Cannot recommend this tour enough!!

Highly recommended to people who love being in contact with nature. Welliams and his team guided our group into beautiful rural areas around the Manialtepec lagoon. We crossed a couple of small rivers (on horses and boats) and we enjoyed a unique scenery off the beaten path. We stopped at a small shack/restaurant where we had drinks and ate dinner (FYI: not included) in a cozy atmosphere. The activity takes a good half-day and it's really worth it. Great for solo travelers, couples, and families.

When we (young couple) arrived we hitched up pretty fast and started our tour with the horses. Passed a few times the river (yeah, your boots will get wet) and had a nice talk with the "instructor" on the horses. When we arrived at the hot springs we tied up the horses to trees and went to the hot water. There are a couple of different hot spring pools and then we had plenty of time for ourselves to experience the springs and sometimes go into the river to cool down and then start again. Was perfect! Thank you for that experience! :)

Echt een unieke ervaring om deze tour per paard te gaan doen! Prachtig! Je wordt opgehaald bij je hotel (mits dat kan), met een klein groepje door het mooie natuurgebied en door de rivieren oversteken naar de warm water bronnen waar je in mag. Met goede gids en zijn honden heb je echt een hele leuke middag. Alleen de organisator spreek wat Engels, maar met handen en voeten kom je er ook qua communicatie.

C'était une expérience unique et incroyable !! J'ai adoré, j'ai passé une merveilleuse journée dans un endroit magnifique, je n'aurais pas pu espérer mieux. Willy est un super guide qui aime partagé sa culture, le seul qui a accepté de me faire vivre cette expérience en solo et au meilleur prix, d'une précieuse aide pour prendre mes photos... Bref un moment hors du temps que je recommande à tous si vous passer à puerto escondido !!
