Amazing Underground River Tour in Palawan.

The underground river is just amazing! The caves are unique and stunning to paddle through. The zipline was also very fun! It's a 2-3 hours drive to get there, but the experience makes it worth the long drive. Remember to take medicine, if you get car sick, because the road is very winding and bumpy. Our guide Rosalyn was kind and funny! We recommend this adventure 100 percent. Rune & Michelina (from Norway)

We would highly recommend this tour it was a lovely day out , modern vehicle with good air con. Great communication from Travel cart tours throughout the process with updates on pickup times . Our tour guide was great company with lots of local info to impart. Nice spot for sightseeing on the way there with panoramic views for photos with plenty of “comfort breaks” throughout the tour. The indoor river and caves were a fantastic sight to see and well worth the visit . The cave tour was accompanied by a headset audio guide in your chosen language which was easy to listen to .A local tour guide did all of the paddling required inside the caves. The boat trip to and from the caves were quite exhilarating about 15 minutes each way and helped to make the day special, the cave and river experience was followed with a buffet lunch and several more add ons that we’re offered such as the Zip line( these were an added extra if you wanted them and reasonably priced )All in all good value for money and worth the visit.

A really great experience. The underground river was so cool and serene. The drive was rough to get there but the boat rides were wonderful. Joshua was a great guide. The food at the restaurant was very good!

Our tour guide was very informative from beginning to end. The drive from Puerto Princesa to the underground river was a bit harrowing due to the many turns and our driver bring a bit speedy even around all the turns. If you are prone to motion sickness, be sure to take dramamine or bonine before the trip. We chose to do the zip line in addition to the tour which I"m so glad we did. The beach that you need to walk down to get to the zip line path then the view from the zip line were gorgeous. When we finished the zip line, we went to the dock and were ready to board with little waiting time. A few people in our van chose not to do the zip line and waited at the beach while reading a book. The whole tour was very well organized from beginning to end. I would recommend the tour without hesitation (except if you get motion sickness then you need to make sure you bring along medicine!).

The cave we passed through was amazing, great tour guide Josh,and good job driving ,Ken we will recommend the tour , took the mangrove tour , bit of a let down but guide sang a very nice song as we were arriving back on shore

We (couple) had an amazing time. The underground river was amazing! We also enjoyed the relaxing mangrove tour (worth the extra upgrade). Our tour guide Echo is very friendly and knowledgeable. The only downside is we booked a shared tour and the van was cramped and also my audio for the river tour stopped working a few minutes into the tour but otherwise a. great tour. Definitely recommend!!! I suggest to upgrade to a small group tour instead as it’s a long winding road to Sabang beach.

A must see when visiting Puerto Princesa. It a great day out & experience to see the underground river. Viator provided great communications and were on time. Tour guide was very informative and spoke good English.

The group me and my fiancé joined is organized by V and everything on the itinerary was followed. The trip transportation was headed by RV and destinations and pick ups were on- time. RV made sure each person was dropped off in their hotels closest he could get to the main entrance as it was raining when the tour ended. Both made sure that the group was comfortable and had a good time. Going to the underground cave was a breeze as V was on top of the permits required for the trip and organizing the boat rides. The underground cave itself is amazing and they implement strict protocols to preserve the area. Locals and site organizers are very welcoming and knowledgeable. Worth your money.

Grea group, great tour, great guide. Jedd was very knowledgeable and had great jokes during the tour. The rest of the group was easy to get along with. The caves were amazing and the zip line was riveting.

We enjoyed the zip line over the beach, the hike was very tiring but worth it. The underground River was amazing!! Definitely worth the wind-ey car ride! The tour guides were very patient and kind.

Jed was our guide and RV was our driver. Jed was a wonderful guide, very informative, easy-going. I enjoyed every moment of this tour and I loved every other tourist that I got to meet in our group. Jed facilitated all this.

Disappointing

Stayed 4hrs at Sabang wharf waiting to board the boat when we were about to board all trips were canceled due to the rough seas. Never really explained why we waited so long when others who came after us had their boat ride.

A Must-do When in Philippines

Overall it was a great tour. The caves are a must-see and worth the wait at the dock. Our guide Roman advised us that if the line was long we would be taken to our “plan B” activity so we’re not just waiting at the dock for hours. Our driver Erwin then took us to these activities while Roman waited for us at the dock. We had the option to do either a mangrove tour for ~350php per person or a zip line for ~550php per person. We opted to do the zip line even though we had done them before and frankly were kind of bored by them. Turns out it was a great decision as it was a zip line over the ocean, which was a unique experience and quite beautiful (they also said it was the longest in the Philippines?). At one point we hovered just over the water as the waves came in (there were bigger waves that day). Once we were done, we were expecting to go to lunch but plans changed as the waves were getting bigger that afternoon due to the winds and so we went to the dock to try to get out to the caves quickly. We first boarded a motorized boat (quite noisy but did the job). Once we got to the site, we got on land, got our hard hat helmets and walked inland to the next set of boats which were paddle boats, paddled by a guide who pointed out features in the caves, which were incredible. There’s a reason it’s a UNESCO heritage site. Whenever I’ve gone to a UNESCO heritage location I’ve never been disappointed and this was no different. This is a great tour and a can’t miss. I appreciate Roman our guide for being thoughtful and Erwin our driver who got us safely there and back, and helped point out things too when Roman had to be away to deal with the queue. I would give it 5 stars if I could except that the pick up of all the hotel guests in the morning ended up taking an hour. It’s not something that can be helped, but I do wish the agency can find a way so that we’re not spending the first hour driving and waiting around for others.

La cueva en sí, que dura...

La cueva en sí, que dura una media hora o 40 minutos no está mal. Sí te dan miedo los murciélagos no vayas, pies vuelan miles alrededor tuya. La recogida bien. El guía muy agradable, simpático y con un nivel de inglés espectacular. Para llegar al río desde Puerto Princesa tardamos algo más de dos horas, con parada en un mirador. Después de hacer el tour por el río, o haces tirolina o esperas a tu grupo dos horas a que terminen en un descansillo con algunos mercados para comprar bebidas. Con el calor que hacía, fue eterno estar esperando. Para in tour de 40 minutos por una cueva oscura, pierdes la mitad de un día entero. Eso sí, el buffet de los mejores que he probado en los tour. Sinceramente, yo no repetiría, al menos en esas condiciones. Por otra parte, la gente que hizo la tirolina no salió muy contenta, así que no sé qué fue peor. Espero haberos ayudado.
