Nice trip

There isn't much to do in Saguenay so this was a nice trip. Lots of driving with not a lot to see but once we got to the viewpoints there were some beautiful vistas.

First snow of winter. Dennis is a great tour guide. Only complaint is that Viator sells tickets after tour is full. We only got on because of no-shows.

Fjord Views

The fjord was beautiful! The view we experienced after our hike was magnificent. Our tour guide had a passion for nature and shared that with us. However, she was difficult to understand. Her English was not clear. , and the audio system on the bus was not the best.

Back Country Fjord and Narionak park

We booked thus tour while in Saguenay in a cruise. Thinking we would stop at lots of interesting places and see much of the Fjord. It wasn't as good as we expected it to be. But you live and learn.

Beautiful countryside of Saguenay

We enjoyed our tour out into the countryside and backroads of Saguenay and the fjords. We had a beautiful day and our guide and driver both local knowledge of the area so shared so much history and stories. Road construction that day slowed us down but they were mindful of our ship schedule and made sure we were back with time to spare. The tour leaves just steps from the cruise terminal and would recommend for cruise passengers.

Beautiful view of the Fjord

This was a stop on a cruise. The town is small and there is not much in town. We booked this tour and we enjoyed the view of the Fjord. It was neat to see the Canadian countryside.

Olympia was a great guide! Humorous & very knowledgeable! Easy to find meeting place. Very organized. We used a school bus but the seats had been swapped out for comfy individual seats.

Far exceeds any cruise sponsored tour at a better price

Saguenay, although a nice clean city, had little to offer in the area of the cruise port. This tour was the second we took with Viator. There is no comparison between the cruise sponsored tours and Viator. As opposed to a giant bus, Viator offered a comfortable 24 seat small bus. The guide was well versed in the area, offering commentary the entire three hour trip. The area explored was breath taking with multiple stops for photo opportunities. There was no anxiety about returning to the ship on time. I took three disappointing cruise sponsored tours, all with a large bus packed full, few and brief stops with less articulate guides. Two of the three cruise offered tours were late departing, one as much as one and one half hour. Once you experience a Viator tour and compare with cruise sponsored tours, you'll never go back.

Great views

Due to cruise ship schedule changes there was confusion about the start time. The fjord and back country were everything we expected and the reason for the rating. Our guide's narrative was disorganized and he spent much of the time talking to the driver to get additional information to share.

The fjord was amazing and the guide was very informative and helpful There were a few on the tour with some mobility issues that I think could have been better accommodated such as driving them down to the bridge pick up point so they could view the bridge instead of having them walk down the steep street
