    Unforgettable, and you have to watch Terehau go up (and down) the coconut tree, olympic level skills !

    For start to finish, this was our first excursion in Raiatea and we were not disapointed. Our guide Terehau, and his friends are truly in love with thri job, they make us feel welcome and they gave everything to make this day the best of our lives, From the coral garden, the polynesian breakfast, the snorkeling, the pearl farm, etc.. everything was great !

    The staff is amazing, polite and fun. They speak English which is very appreciate to tourists and the motu where the lunch is provided is a paradise.

    Normally don’t write reviews, but I couldn’t resist as we had the best tour experience our guide was very enthusiastic, energetic, funny and helpful specially in the coral garden. Such great personality made our experience very electrifying we are ready to go back. Lunch on Motu was delicious.

    We booked this tour the day before arrival in Raiatea due to unexpected cancellation of our original plan … and I am so glad that happened. As other reviews have noted, the his tour was fantastic! There was our guide and made for a great day around Taha’a but with his fellow guides. Enjoy a day full of vanilla, pearls, rum, rays, sharks, snorkeling, lunch and songs with this fun bunch of locals.

    Awesome experience! We had Tere as our tour guide and he was great! All the guides were awesome and so funny! We were laughing the whole trip! A great taste of Tahaa followed by a delicious motu lunch and coconut show. Drift snorkeling was one of our favorites, and we even saw Nemo! We booked as an excursion while our NCL ship was docked and you could walk to the meeting point. The marina is right next to the cruise port. There was a mix of French-speaking boats and English, but the guides spoke perfect English so no need to worry about missing any information. Highly recommend ARE Tours for your next trip to Raiatea!

    Our favourite tour of French Polynesia. Even with the rainy start it was such a special day. The motu was the highlight, the lunch amazing, and the music/entertainment was spectacular. Do this tour! Take reef shoes though :)

    My experience may have been different to everyone else's because it was pouring rain for the first 2 hours of the tour. We were picked up from the cruise port on time (unfortunately ended up waiting 30+ min to start the tour because other guests were late) and headed off to the vanilla plantation. The boat we were in was uncovered, the waves were rough, and by the time we arrived at the plantation we were all soaking wet, as if we had swam there. The strong wind made it really cold and unpleasant during the visit to the plantation. It was a couple of tour guides divided into different boats and every time we stopped it was a bit disorganized as to where we were supposed to go and when to reconvene as a group etc. The lunch was definitely the highlight of the trip and what made this excursion worth it. The food was freshly prepared and delicious, and there were black tipped sharks swimming around us while we ate and listened to some music being performed. Afterwards we stopped at a black pearl farm, which was a very nice informative experience. Overall I wish the tour company had taken into account the weather, but I would recommend it nonetheless.

    Memorable excursion Terre was an excellent tour guide, funny, full of interesting information and sooo helpful with a novice snorkeler. Can’t thank him enough for his patience and care! Not just with me, but with everyone. Would totally tour with ARE Tours Raiatea again! 😊

    Get it all - Vanilla plantation, Snorkeling, Pearl Farm, and a Polynesian beach party/picnic. This is a great tour. We even had blacktip sharks swimming a few feet from our picnic tables. Great fun, great value. Highly recommended.

    Beginning to end, this was a great excursion! Reve and his team did an excellent job of entertaining us despite the two rain storms we had to go through. We now know why vanilla cost so much. And how black pearls are cultured. Both very informative stops on our way to the Coral Gardens. We've seen better snorkeling elsewhere, but this was shallow water with a big variety of fish and some good coral for pictures. The lunch was wonderful! Fish, chicken, rice, taro, plantains and more with plenty for everyone. My highlight was the black tip sharks that were swimming right beside us! Lots of good photos. A very nice dance and music performance after lunch before heading back to the ship. Highly recommend this all day tour by ACE.

    Our boat captain Tere was excellent and entertaining! This whole experience was interesting and fun. Our lunch on the picnic tables in the water was amazing! The snorkelling was great, and we enjoyed the vanilla plantation visit and learned about the production of the black pearls. Sharks at lunch! Great tour! Thanks Tere!

    Awesome tour. Touched on vanilla farm, pearl farm, snorkeling, lunch on beach with live music. Our guide was extremely fun. All the other guides got together for music and Tahitian dancing. Highly recommend.

    I recommend this tour if you enjoy the ocean in a laidback atmosphere. ARE Tours gave us a wonderful time. Lunch with the sharks was something you don’t get to very often.

    Reva was a great guide. Not only a guide he was a superb cultural ambassador. Everywhere we went we had great talks - vanilla, pearls, coral gardens snorkeling and of course lunch on the beach with fish and black-tip reef sharks within a few feet of us. We had great fun and this trip was well worth the money. Thank you for a great day.

    Hiro was an exceptionally great host and driver. He took us to the right spots during our snorkeling excursion. He was very patient with us when we were trying to navigate around. He is very knowledgeable about the waters and surrounding areas. He took the time to explain the different colors of the water We would definitely do this excursion again

    Reva was a great tour guide. Engaged and entertaining and not a bad ukalalie player and singer. Snorkling was good as was the pearl and vanella tours. Lunch was a highlight not so much for the good food but for eating on benches in the water with fish of all kinds below you and eating on palm fronds. Coconut demo was fun and amusing. Definitely do this. Thought pricing was good too.

    The tour guide guide was fantastic. All the stops were amazing. This is a must tour to book. All day for a low price, but quality was not competitive.
