Guiden var mycket kunnig var mycket trevlig besvarade frågor mycket väl såg till att hon var i kontakt med gruppen hela tiden och inte gick för snabbt framför gruppen.

This is a wonderful tour. Seeing the colesseum at night gives a different perspective. The walk up to the colesseum was very interesting as u learn a lot abbout the ruins. The guide was great. Doing the tour at night was great as we were not with the crowds and the heat. The only issue is that there were not enough lights to truly see thw colesseum, like u would during the day.

We met our guide pretty far away from the Colosseum, so I was unsure where or how this was going to play out. It ended up he took us by many spots I had already seen that day, but did not know about. It intrigued me and frustrated me that I did not know this beforehand,because I felt like I wasted a lot of my day. That being said, he taught us so much and shared about the places and brought it more alive. When we got to the Colosseum he handed us over to actual archaeologist to take us on the tour and they were phenomenal bringing this alive and showing us the rich history. I fully recommend this tour and recommend it your very first night there.

Dear Jenrenv, Visiting these magical historical places with a guide really changes the experience, doesn't it? The Night Colosseum Tour: with Gladiators Underground and Arena combines a walk past the Colosseum's surrounding monuments, with a visit to the limited access areas under the light of the moon. Amazing to read you would recommend joining this tour (and eventhough you felt frustrated feeling to have waisted time), we are happy our guide was able to enhance the experience by providing the background stories of these majestic sights.

The tour guide that took us to the Colosseum was excellent. We took a stroll through Plaza Venecia and other attractions on the way to the Colosseum, throughout the entire walk he was funny, informative and engaging. The ear-piece radio system was very clear and comfortable, making it easy to hear and understand what he was saying. Once we got to the Colosseum the tour fell apart. Due to Colosseum regulations, we had a different tour guide (who was an archaeologist) inside the Colosseum. He wasn't nearly as good and it went from feeling like a walk with a knowledgeable local friend to feeling like a boring lecture. Also, we had to use a different ear-piece radio system that was worse and uncomfortable. I highly recommend you bring your own earphones. The Colosseum was a lot less busy at night, it was great to avoid the crowds, but it isn't very well lit at so it was harder to appreciate everything. There were several media stops where a projection is displayed along with some audio, although cool in theory, the execution was lacking on some of the presentations. Several of them were hard to hear. Overall I would only recommend this if you REALLY want to go inside the Colosseum, otherwise just look at it from the outside and spend the money on a good meal. You're not missing much on the inside.

Currently as you mentioned the tour operates with two different guides, one employed by us that provides the first half of the tour and joins you inside the Colosseum, but the last half of the tour is provided by the guides of the Colosseum themselves (as we have to obide by their rules). Great to read our guide felt like going for a walk with a friend as we strive to organize personal experiences. But on the other hand we are sorry the guide inside the Colosseum was not as great. The Colosseum at night is an amazing experience which allows for the beautiful monument to be visited in peace and tranquility, and we are sorry to hear that the Colosseum guide was not up to our standards. We will do our best to take your feedback to heart and would like to thank you very much having taken the time to share your opinion with us.

Unforgettable tour getting to see the Colosseum at night when it was much quieter and being able to go underground where the Gladiators and animals were kept before entering the arena. Jada gave us some great information about the Roman Forum and helped us with our experience. Highly recommend this tour
