I wonder if you'd be so kind as to explain exactly what you mean by "too small" ? There were eight passengers; the van we sent had seats for eight passengers. From the standpoint of what the law requires of us as a transport company, the van was absolutely not too small; there was a seat and a seatbelt for everyone on the transfer.
If passengers exceeded the specified baggage limit or were so large that the van felt crowded, we regret the inconvenience but kindly point out that those kinds of things are not our fault. As you mention, your driver made it work, which is what really matters. It's unfortunate that his 5-star job is diminished by a less-than-ideal situation that he did not create.
