This tour was fantastic, focused on facts and really understanding what happened in Salem and why. Our guide Jeff’s lifetime of living in Salem right among the sights of the tour made it all come alive with local context and grounding. Despite the cold, misty New England weather, Jeff had our elementary school aged child riveted and bounding along for the full two hours plus.

Our group along with many other people on this tour were very confused where the tour started. Everyone thought they were in the wrong spot. We were the first ones there and we could see people looking very confused so we asked them if they were here for the tour and they said oh thank God we’re in the right spot then. We found the true guide, very condescending and talked bad about all of the other tours in town. It got to the point where we left the tour. It was definitely not what we expected.

Jeff is full of anecdotes. Maybe a little less talking so we can absorb more information. In all, great presentation. Expect groups of 40 people or more.

Our tour guide Jeff was amazing. He was so knowledgeable. Definitely accurate history on this tour. Highly recommend taking it. We were specifically looking for a tour that wasn’t just focused on ghost stories and included an overview of historical events. If that’s what you were looking for this is the perfect tour for you!

Jeff was absolutely awesome! Ask for him! He was born and raised in Salem grew up with a passion for Salem's history. He's fun, well spoken with the REAL historical facts about the trials. We have seen several tours in the past I highly recommend this tour. Took us all around Salem. Don't look anywhere else best walking tour ever!

Such a great tour. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about the area and local so you get to experience the history and learn about the people and places from someone who actually cares about the people in the stories and not just the gimmick that most tours offer.
