Great price, FANTASTIC tour

My husband and I wanted to do a tour but were on a time crunch, so this tour was PERFECT! It really showcased everything to see in Salem and took us about an hour and a half to do!

Salem self-guided ghost tour

My adult daughter and I decided to try the walking tour since we were too late for any organized tours. Our expectations were low but quickly changed once the narration started. The self-guided walking tour was far more entertaining than we expected and extremely easy to follow. It is GPS led, which allows you to walk at your own pace. It was a fantastic value and very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour.

It was so nice and easy. It’s a really great way to familiarize yourself with the layout of Salem at your own pace. So easy to use and a lot of fun. We frequently paused the tour to go in shops and browse. We loved that.

Honestly input the number of adults that I was with, one my girlfriend, as I thought that this would have some bearing on the tour itself. The only difference is the price. It's a SELF GUIDED TOUR, why would you even have an option to add more people to a tour that once it is purchased can be used with as many people you want to share your experience with. Being charged for TWO tickets to a SELF GUIDED TOUR is like being charged for every walking tour you happen to walk by and hear some of their stories. Asinine!

Everything was great except the directions to get started were confusing and the need to download the walkntour app should have been more clear and that’s why I didn’t give 5 stars. We almost gave up. That being said the rest was awesome once we got started!

What a great app guided ghost tour. We were able to pause and stop into shops and then play when ready to continue the tour. It was also very well detailed to follow along.

Loved the information could do less cawing through the WalknTours app. When I closed it out several times, the app was still making noises and the text didn’t show up after multiple tries. It was a good laugh between me and my friend but it was still frustrating.

It was great! I enjoyed being able to start and stop the tour as I pleased and it really helped us find our way around. Definitely bring headphones but we were ok just reading the narration when we arrived at the different spots. Really good value and allowed for a lot of flexibility during our day. Download everything BEFORE you go though, service was spotty up there.

This tour was EXCELLENT. I came with my parents, both who were not very excited about going to "the with town" lol. This tour changed their minds. They didn't want to leave Salem after the tour was done! Informative, but not boring. Super reasonable tour, we downloaded it onto 2 phones. The pace was perfect, and the audio was well done! Download it before you get to town, as service gets a little spotty down there.

I missed the timing to go on a tour of Salem, but found this audio tour as an alternative. It was great. It gave just enough historical information to appreciate the "ghost" stories about landmarks around Salem. I felt as though the creator of this tour really cared about producing something accessible and interesting. This was my first experience using the smartphone walking tour, but I enjoyed this one so much, I will be using this when I travel!
