För det mesta verkligen haft turnén. , Vår förare Gary var stor, mycket informativ och hjälpsam. Men önskar att vi kunde ha kunnat turnera i insidan av LBJs barndomshem och Texas White House. Pojkehemmets hem sa att det började turnéer klockan 10 och de hade fortfarande inte öppnat klockan 11 Vi fick inte tillräckligt med tid ens för att se en film på museet. Inte väl planerad. Gillade verkligen att se longhornskorna på nära håll. Tyckte också om vårt besök i Fredericksburg, mycket charmig och god mat.

Thank you for your review, your input is very important to us. I hope I can explain some background on the National Park Service stops in Johnson City and at the LBJ Ranch near Stonewall, Texas. We have anticipated that some guests may want to spend more time at the Johnson City Visitor Center but the 8 hour itinerary is full and we have only been able to allocate a short stop in Johnson City. So we have purposefully included in our tour description and we also announce on the vehicle before the stop - that the Johnson City stop is a brief stop. We have included a stop in Johnson City mainly because when we arrive in Johnson City our guests have been on the vehicle for over an hour and the Johnson City Visitor Center is a good clean place to stop and use the facilities and get a brief prelude to the LBJ Ranch which is the next stop on the tour. The movie is not part of our itinerary; instead guests can see the movie at the Ranch.We also have posted in our tour information that the Ranch and all of the facilities are open but that the interior of the Texas White House is closed for repairs. Please note that the National Park Service is in control of these facilities. We are glad that you otherwise had a great time and loved our guide, Gary is the greatest!

Loretta was quite informative and fun. Fredericksburg is a nice little town and the Sister Creek wine tasting was good. Mike was friendly and knew his wines. A little disappointed that the White House of Texas was closed and is not to reopen until 2025.

We thought 8 hrs might be too much, but it wasn’t!! This was a wonderful escape from the city for a calm, pleasant drive through beautiful countryside. Frequent stops for sightseeing & history broke up the day. Loved all the stops & LBJ history. Our driver Loretta was the best! So pleasant & knowledgeable! She made the trip even better. Thank you!!

Loretta was a good driver and knowledgeable tour guide. Douglas, who gave us a tour of LBJ’s childhood home, was awesome! Also enjoyed seeing Fredericksburg.

Thoroughly enjoyed the LBJ part of the tour. Very interesting and informative. Definitely could have used another hour in Fredericksburg..just not enough time to get some lunch and see the whole town in I hour. The drive thru Hill Country was lovely and Luckenbach was a fun little stop. Please choose a different winery for your tour!! The present winery on the tour is dirty and terribly rundown. Only 1 person on our tour tried the wine tasting.. that should say something! Very disappointing! There are several lovely looking wineries on route to Fredericksburg, perhaps consider one of them.

The guide, Domingo (?), was informative & answered questions. Best of all, he didn’t keep up a constant stream of chatter as so many do! Wish we could have a bit more time at Luckenbach to enjoy the music. All in all, a most enjoyable day.

A day long tour

We enjoyed this tour but the wine tasting was not included in price. There was construction at LBG ranch so you couldn't view the main house.

Enjoyed stopping at LBJ's boyhood home. Really enjoyed the display at the Park visitor center but did not have enough time to see the whole display. Was disappointed that his Texas white house was closed for remodeling.

Not as advertised

This was advertised to include the LBJ ranch as a major segment of the tour. The ranch was closed for remodeling so we saw nothing of the ranch, Little White House, Airforce 1/2 etc. none of this was communicated to us in advance. I feel a refund is due as this was a ripoff. Please explain what you are willing to do rectify this situation. We have used your company in the past and we’re very satisfied.

We enjoyed the historical content of the LBJ sights. Fredericksburg was worth the stop but needed more time. Vineyard was great, could skip the peach farm. Loretta was an excellent driver and guide
