Dear Kristi,
First, Viator canceled your reservation because you booked the wrong service and not because of poor contractor communication, as you stated in your review. We have a complete thread of messages proving your dishonesty.
And I will explain:
On September 23rd, 2023, we received your reservation from Viator for a private transfer from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to the City of San Francisco on September 30th, 2023. While processing your reservation, we noticed that you only added a
“Special requirements: vehicle must be able to carry luggage for 4 plus a set of golf clubs”.
For critical areas such as airline, flight number, and drop-off address, you applied N/A. Therefore, on September 24th, we contacted you through the Viator System requesting missed information. On September 28th (4 days later), you replied and provided the Airline you were using and flight number but indicated a different city for the drop-off; instead of San Francisco, it was Sacramento. On Viator, we offer many services, including a private transfer from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to the City of Sacramento, which you were able to book then. But you intentionally booked a cheaper service (the most convenient money-wise for yourself). You cheated the system by leaving a blank drop-off address so your reservation could go through, and 3 days before travel, you informed us that your destination was not in San Francisco but in Sacramento. The City of Sacramento is 105 miles from SFO and $495.00 higher than you paid. Your fraudulent activity was noticed and reported to Viator accordingly. I hope Viator made notice of your action and will prevent you from abusing the system in the future. This was the real reason why Viator canceled your reservation. With all being said above, your review has no merit, and we kindly ask you to remove it.
