Vi bokade denna aktivitet under vår resa till Antigua i februari och det var värt vartenda öre. Vi tillbringade dagen med Sean som tog oss över hela ön. När jag bokade den här dagsutflykten hade jag bett om någon som hade bra berättarförmåga eftersom min man är blind. Sean var mer än redo för uppgiften. Han har utmärkt kunskap om öns historia och ett stort sinne för humor. Vi hade en underbar tid på att besöka sevärdheter som Shirley Heights, Nelson Dockyard, Devil's Bridge och Betty's Hope. Vi stannade också för en riktigt god lunch med roti. Testa definitivt svart ananas om du är på ön (den är gul, inte svart, men sötare och mindre syrlig än réguler ananas). Tack, Sean, för en oförglömlig dag.

The trip was enjoyable. Nice vehicle. The tour director was very knowledgable. He gave us so much information about the island. He suggested lunch at a smaller resturant that allowed us the taste of Antigua. Ginger soda. Goat lunch. And on a road side stand he stopped to get us and paid for a dark pineapple from a garden of a lady that grew them and sold them. AGAIN—not only stopped for us to try it but paid for it. We truly had a great “taste” of Antigua.

This tour is amazing, you see so much of the beautiful island. Our guide Sherene was so knowledgeable and had pictures etc to go with what she was telling us. The traditional little restaurant for lunch was great. Fully recommend this tour to everyone, we opted for just the two of us

A drive around the Island

Simply put. What we had was a drive around the island of Antigua.. we stopped at two historical sites ate lunch and was dropped off. For the money that was charged, simply not worth the price. Our tour guide , Rob, wad very friendly and pleasant. That was the saving grace of the tour.

Rob was our tour guide and I would highly recommend asking for him. The whole tour was first rate. We gave him some specifics of what we wanted to do and see and he hit all of the them. We always pulled right up front to the historic attractions and didn’t wait in line for tickets. It was all taken care of of. Rob was very knowledgeable and personable. It was a great day! We had an amazing time on this tour! Our tour guide's name was Julius. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the island. We really enjoyed learning about the island's history and visiting the different sites. We also had a delicious local lunch. Overall, it was the immersive experience we were looking for! We highly recommend this tour and Julius as a tour guide.

Brimstone Hill Fortress. Seeing a Fortress perched aboved a possible approaching enemy gave a sense of the difficulty of storming the fort, although perhaps I should not tempt fate by putting my head in front of the barrel!

So Rob was our tour guide on probably the one cloudy and wet day of our 11 in Antigua but no matter he made it fabulous. The highlight for me was he got my wife and I into the new Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium and as a proper cricket fan this was heaven for me, made better by the head groundsman met us and took us on a personal tour inc changing rooms etc. I was in dream land. Rest of tour was great got to see some stunning places you would not otherwise see. What can I say a day that was the highlight of a trip we will remember for ever. Thankyou Rob you really made it for us.

Amazing family experience

What an amazing experience for us! We took this because we had some relatives that came from Antigua in the 1800’s and wanted to learn more about its history. We learned so much and our tour guide took us to lots of places. She made sure we got to see everywhere wanted and came away with an understanding and love for the island and its people. It was the highlight of our week long trip to the Caribbean. Highly recommend this tour. You won’t be disappointed

Our guide was lively and entertaining providing an overview of life on the island today and historically. The VIP Platinum tour follows the same as the semi or group tours. We were led to believe we could customize the tour but we could not. Per instructions from visitor we packed suits and towels but never went to a place to swim. Overall nice tour but would have been better if expectations were not led in a different direction.

Thank you Linda for taking the time to leave us a review. There is a slight difference between our Private Platinum and Semi Gold Tour which I will explain. Our Private Platinum Tour is a completely private tour (no persons other than on that booking) which can be customized. This tour also includes an Antigua lunch experience. Our Semi Private Tour is a group tour which includes other persons and can be a combination of various tours with a maximum of 8 persons. This tour cannot be customized as it is not private. However, requests can be made on this tour but it must be in agreement with everyone on tour. As it relates to the beach stop, all our tours have a beach stop included. I am unsure why you did not visit the beach on your tour, but will speak with Keisha regarding this. Our apology for any disappointments. We are happy that you had a nice tour despite the misunderstanding of you being able to customize the tour. We appreciate your review as it helps us to look at things that might need improvement.

Beautiful day on Antigua

Julius was a great guide! He took us all over the island, sharing highlights along the way. I ask a lot of questions while on tours and he patiently answered every one. We went to a cute little restaurant where we had a lunch of local Antiguan food. Lunch and entrance fees were included in the excursion price. Julius even dropped us off quite close to the pier our ship was docked at so my husband wouldn’t have to walk so far. We highly recommend this excursion!

A great day in Antigua

Julius was excellent - he enabled myself and my disabled husband to see all of Antigua. The vehicle was comfortable and we enjoyed the liquid refreshments. Lunch at English Harbour was superb - real Antiguan food. I hope to return to Antigua with family sometime soon!!
