På vägen till turen fick vi ett punkterat däck. Jag ringde direkt till turnéchefen om vad som just hände. Han gav mig två alternativ: 1) när däcket är fixat, gå med i gruppen (den platta trötten inträffade kl. 8:35 och fixades inte förrän kl. 13:45); 2) ingen återbetalning! ! Jag frågade om jag fick åka på söndag, och han sa: "NEJ! ”
Det är anledningen till att jag ger det här företaget ett fruktansvärt betyg. Skulle de inte ens jobba med mig?? Så idag ska min man och jag till Cotswold på egen hand??

Hi Kathleen, I'm so sorry you were unable to join our tour on Saturday!
When we spoke you were understandably upset by the flat tyre on your hire car and I felt helpless to assist. I was not guiding the tour that day and, with 14 other passengers to take into consideration, together with our guide we had to make the decision to commence the tour without you. We hoped you’d be able to catch up later in the day, and were more than willing to help you with this.
Unfortunately you were unable to join the tour - we couldn’t have known how long it would take to get your car fixed but, during our only conversation (at the time of your issue), you’d already made it very clear that this was not going to be a satisfactory resolution. You wanted your money back from us for your flat tyre.
As our reviews will testify, we’re empathetic to customers who can’t make it through no fault of their own - these things happen, after all. We often move customers to different tours (when we can), even if a request comes within 24 hours of the tour departure. Sadly, we didn’t have any availability to transfer your booking because all of our tours for the rest of that weekend were fully booked, with waiting lists.
Through our correspondence with Viator, we recommended you to pursue an insurance claim for your tour tickets, and we’d be happy to provide documentation that you may require.
We’re a small independent business and have T&Cs to protect our existence. We hate it when customers aren’t able to join us - especially when it’s not your fault. But it’s not ours either and we don’t believe we should be out of pocket for it. I’m sorry if this seems unreasonable to you, but it is common, standard policy: if you were to break down on the way to a concert or football match, I very much doubt you’d receive a refund.
We wish you all the very best, Kathleen, and hope that you had a great day in the Cotswolds once your tyre was fixed. Finally, a word of advice; when asking for assistance, I'd suggest against using the term "f__k you" when you don’t get the exact answer you were demanding. In nearly 9 years of running my business, this is the only time anyone has ever sworn at me.

Utmärkt turné. Mark, vår förare för dagen, hämtade oss omgående från vårt hotell och var mycket vänlig och pratsam. Vi besökte massor av fantastiska platser i Cotswolds samt några som var utanför allfartsvägarna. Mark var mycket informativ om alla planerade stopp och de omgivande områdena och roade oss också med några udda aktiviteter som hölls i Cotswolds. Varje stopp var tidsinställd till perfektion, vilket möjliggjorde förfriskningar, lunch eller bläddra i de fantastiska byarna. Jag skulle inte tveka att rekommendera "Go Cotswolds" eftersom hela dagen var felfri. Tack Mark för en mycket minnesvärd dag.

The views, greenery, the spring flowers! The rolling green hills contrasting the yellow fields were gorgeous. Each charming village was a breath of fresh air! Our tour guide, Mark, was well versed, entertaining and made our day most memorable! We would defiantly recommend the tour!

We had an absolutely brilliant day exploring the Cotswolds. Tom was fantastic! His knowledge was immense and he made the trip very informative and fun. Couldn't think of a better way to see the area. I have been previously on a large coach, but this was much better.

It was a pleasure to have you, Karen, Rick, Matt and Gina on our Cotswolds in a Day tour, and I'm so pleased to hear that you had a brilliant day with our super guide Tom! There is definitely a time and a place for the Big Coach tours, but (and I realise I am biased here...!) the narrow, winding lanes of the Cotswolds is not the ideal time or place. On many of the big coaches from London, the Cotswolds is packaged in with visits to other places like Bath, or Oxford and Windsor Castle, and there's just not enough time, in one day, to do the Cotswolds justice. In fact, many of these big coach tours just drive through a small section of the Cotswolds without stopping. Our minibus is small enough to be able to easily navigate the country roads, yet large enough to feel comfortable and spacious, and everyone gets a great view. Though one day in the Cotswolds is never enough, our tour gives a great overview of what the Cotswolds is all about. Thank you so much for recommending Go Cotswolds to the Viator community - we really appreciate it!
