Crickets historia och tradition kommer till liv

Min SCG-turné var en av höjdpunkterna på min resa till Sydney den här månaden. Jag följer Ashes-matcherna och några av Englands andra landskamper, men jag är inget passionerat cricketfan. Stuart min guide var dock helt fantastisk från hans varma välkomnande i museet hela vägen genom turnén. Stuarts passion, kärlek till spelet och stolthet över markens historia och tradition gjorde turnén levande för mig. Citaten på läktarnas väggar från Sir Donald be och M A Noble var ganska rörande och jag planerar att skaffa boken M A Noble till min son som är en cricketspelare och fan. Resorna in i hemma & borta omklädningsrummen var en underbar inblick i vad som händer bakom kulisserna och det var fantastiskt att se var australiensarna satt och förberedde sig för matcher. Jag skulle gärna göra turnén igen när jag är i Sydney nästa gång. Tack igen Stuart – bra jobbat.

Det var en fantastisk upplevelse att besöka Sydney cricketplan som en cricketälskare. Det finns mycket historia förknippad med denna mark. Guiden var bara fenomenal. Han tog oss genom alla viktiga platser på stadion och delade mycket information. Jag är verkligen glad att vi tog den här turen. Personalen gav också några små presenter till unga barn och hjälpte oss att boka taxi. Mycket artiga människor.

An experience for a fan of cricket

Iconic cricket ground attempting to balance new facilities with the tradions of the game. Knowledgeable guide with lots of stories of historic feats. Access to the changing rooms which seems unchanged since the 1920's Lasted a bit under 2 hours.. Good value.

SCG Fascinating Experience

The guide was very informative and had a vast amount of knowledge of players both past and present. He also gave a very interesting account of the history of the buildings and explanations of why certain areas could not be modernised as they Heritage Listed. all in all a vey enjoyable experience.
